so if manny was gettting 0% of the ppv revenue, where was the majority of the $40 mill coming from?? clearly some of the net back end revenue was built into this offer

with floyds offer, he would have been the sole promoter, of course he should have received most of the revenue (like arum does when promoting pac)

according to some of you, floyd is supposed to guarantee an enormous purse and front the money for all the expenses (purses, marketing, golden boy, etc.)? while pacquiao assumes no risk??

now if you want to argue that offering a monetary sum while cutting arum out of the promotion was a ridiculous offer, then you have a point ... but $40 mill was FAR from a ****ty deal. its easily the highest guaranteed purse in the history of boxing

      Oh we forgot...Floyd: I'm a coward.
except manny turned the deal down over ost and cutoff priods.

That's the point. Manny kept conceding, ie, testing becoming a non-issue, and Floyd kept dumping roadblocks after roadblocks. Meaning, he wanted none of Pac no matter what.

Manny made his decision, just accept it. STop acting like he is some helpless waif. If he took the position with floyd he is with rios-fight happens.

Believe what you want. One guy is making more than he ever did the other guy is making OST a stip in a fight for less than what he made his last two fights.

In the end manny lived with his decision his fans should too.

If Floyd would rather not take the promotional risk, I'm sure Arum would love to pick up the slack.

Why not just take the guesswork out of it and go with a percentage split? As it is, the offer was barely more than Pac's standard fare. How''s that worthwhile to him?

Not the worst thing he's done in his life. Staying with arum is by far the ******est choice he's made. He's on the same level as Floyd Oscar and cotto. They were smart and left arum. PAC is still bobs lap dog

Actually that offer was retracted and GBP stated they'd be willing to bring in a neutral organization, this was around the time when arum said he was ignoring GBP's calls for whatever reason.

When Top Rank promotes a Pac fight, they pay all expenses including Pac purse, then take whatever profits. For either JMM 3 or 4 TR's share was 40 or more, before paying Pac. Per Rafael, Pac's purse was around 26m. So Arum gets his, probably more than 27% in this case, but less than 27% for Bradley.
If Pac would make 20 million in a different fight, Arum would still take his cut. So the purse difference isn't 12-13%, more like 12-13 million, or am I missing something? Also, I thought Floyd was attempting to cut Arum out.
