However lets not act as though he was not spoon fed a lot of his opponents. And lets definitly not act as though Morales or Barrera were even close to their primes when they fought. Especially not the 2nd time he fought Barrera. The first time he and Barerra fought is debatable. He went life and death with Marquez 3x which many believe Marquez won the first 3 fights, then he got planked by Marquez in the 4th fight. Mayweather beat an undefeated Corrales who was a complete monster at 130, and then beat an undefeated Hatton who was on the top 10 P4P list.
Granted Morrales, Barrera, and Marquez are all first ballot HOF, but at the time that Pac fought them were they fighting at a level where you would still consider them to be great? I would say yes to Marquez, but I don't belive Barrera nor Morrales were fighting at a level that any of us would consider to be great.
Gotta love the money teamAnyone who disagree with Floyd is not a boxing fan

And then he turned down 40mil which would have clearly been his highest payday ever to fight Bradley for half of that.
95% of the best ATG fighters have losses and have been knocked out, undefeated don't mean **** when you face people like Guerrero.

It wasn't a 50/50 split, it was Floyd taking 50 + all the PPV revenue, that isn't 50/50.

Pacman beating the 3 Mexican legends. Not debatable.

Mayweather jr ending the undefeated streaks of Corrales(35-0)and Hatton(43-0) both in convincing victories

          which is more impressive?
Morales lost to Raheem before Pac beat him twice. Manny had a draw and a close win (which the majority thought he lost) to JMM and beat Barerra twice.

I would say floyd beating 2 these two undefeated fighters is more impressive given when Manny fought Morales and the fact he didn't beat JMM twice.

I love how 'majority' is 6 people.

57 for Marquez, 51 for Pacquaio, 38 draw

If that isn't the definition of a close fight, then what is? Ricky Hatton was also fought at an unnatural weight, where as Pacquaio faced him in his best division... stop nitpicking. Pacquaio has beat Marquez twice, and would've been a 3rd if the judge in the 1st wasn't ****** and made a mistake. Let me guess, you think Marquez won all 4 fights and they weren't even close for Pacquaio? This isn't Bradley, you can't call there fights robberies when they are so even.

Barrera, Marquez >>> Hatton, Corrales... that's not even including Morales... inb4 hurr durr barrera and Marquez weren't in prime... cause that's B/S.

He fights him coming off of a near shutout by Raheem and gets ton of credit for it like the Raheem fight never happened. Not only that but they actually allow him to fight him a 3rd time after EM is shutout by Raheem and KO by Pac. He then gets mad credit for it again. How is that allowed? He also got KTFO by JMM.

Is everyone just going to erase those facts? That 2nd MAB win wasnt special either. The only great wins out that group was the 1st MAB win and the JMM fights but again, he got KTFO by JMM in the end
              Ed of thread. Bye.

I find it funny that stans brings up the pre-fight circumstances for Pac vs 3 ATG legends, but doesn't bring up the pre-fight circumstances for Floyd vs Hatton (140 fighting at 147) and Corrales (prison bound and weight drained at 130)

Hatton fight took place at 147, he was a good lighter welter but a decent welter at best, in fact, I would say he was lucky to be undefeated as he was hurt bad in his previous fight and the ref helped him out with the shoe lace thing

ricky hatton was never that good, just look at the dudes resume, he was a decent/good boxer at best imo, would lose to a lot of 140s even his prime in todays world

corales was good but thats it

for sure pac, there really is no contest
