Floyd still has a couple fights to do with Showtime, so he will not fight Canelo now, they will talk about Canelo so people keep watching both fighters because they are interested in that showdown but the fight wont happen before 2014/2015, makes no sense business wise and everybody knows Floyd is afraid to lose his 0 and wont fight anyone that has a slight chance of beating him, Floyd will fight one of the smaller guys again, like Khan, Matthysse, Alexander, Peterson or Garcia.

Just talking about the Canelo fight creates alot of press and hype which helps marketing both of their next lesser opponents.
