On top of that, Canelo could not make the 151 catchweight for the Hatton fight so if Floyd wants to save face (like that is even possible after all the things he has done outside the ring), then he should put a ring entrance weight stip of 162 which is realistic.

Meaning Floyd dont take any risks, is calculating and only wants to keep his zero.

Why do boxers ever step up weight then, becuse they want to challenge themselves i guess, something your admitting Floyd dont want to do. If he only wanted skills to determine the victor why fight JMM stepping up two divisions?
Its all about the zero, and excuses like Floyd wants skills only to determine the victor are just that, excuses.

Floyd started at 130 WTF , you are so biased when it comes to Floyd , I thought by now you would be a little mature and be over the little boy hate from stopping your idol Hatton , I guess not .

So what? Floyd is a 154 champion. Some people dont think Floyd is a genuine champ there, so nows a good chance to show he is.

Why didnt Floyd fight JMM at 135 then? Floyd would still have his skills at 135. Maybe Floyd would find it hard to get down there, just like it would be hard for Canelo to get down to 147.

Its all about the zero when it comes to Floyd, not challenging yourself and taking risks and achieving greatness.

You got it twisted (hard) ... JMM wanted to fight Floyd not the other way round, it his choice to challenge the best and he thought he could beat him coming up from a lower weight. All career roads from light to welter lead to that shot/payday with floyd because he is no1 Pound for Pound. Beating floyd is better that any belt out there right now u'll never be satisfied till you do. Why is it all boxing professionals/trainers say floyd is the best, and ppl like you think they know better?

Skills determining the victor is better victory than winning because you weigh 15lbs heavier dont you think? Canelo is fighting welterweights when he should be fighting martinez angulo GGG lara or at 170 even ward. You needing a weight advantage to win a fight is shameful. what you think? And Meaning Floyd Does take RISKS!! beating Oscar ass at 170lbs.

Canelo already has the age advantage(prime vs past-prime), if you think he needs 15lbs weight advantage to even stand a chance against floyd (which he would still loose!) then that just shows truly how high your regards for floyd are as the best active.

Canelo would Knock-Out colder than Marquez did Pacquiao at 147lbs so its still a dangerous fight for Floyd. Just on a better even playing field @ 147

The above post is just sickening.
Its all about the zero with Floyd, he wont take any risks at all. Floyd fans consider FLoyd giving some advantages to DLH years and years ago that nobody can hardly remember as sufficient to last a whole career. True Floyd dont call anyone out, and the fact that JMM called FLoyd out, is enough for Floyd to take the challenge. When a 154 guy calls Floyd out, Floyd makes as many excuses as his fans do. Terrible, weak excuses at that.

People dont think Floyd is a true 154 champ even, and here is a chance for Floyd to show he can be, and he wont risk it, and his fans make excuses for him to not risk it as well. But its hardly a risk is it, Canelo isnt the finished article and if Floyd were to fight Canelo when Canelo is 28 then it might be considered risky.

But Floyd is infamous for not taking risks. Duran fought Barkley and that was real david and goliath stuff, not Canelo and Floyd stuff when they are essientially the same height and size. But Duran didnt have a zero to protect did he? Duran wanted to achieve greatenss, Floyd dont.

              • Floyd would gain greater respect for beating Canelo at 154.

Great fighters take unnecessary risks as a challenge.
