However, Floyd Sr stated that Canelo can only be 150 at fight night!!! LMAO

And for the record, Manny never asked for an entire division drop for his opponents.
For the record neither has Floyd .

And Schaefer said its all BS and negotiations are going on at 154 .

Thats the trouble in here you all explode on any rumor , Snr is not Jnr , Schaefer is the one talking to Floyd and Canelo , Im not siding with one or the other just saying whoa up .

I read that same article, Schaefer never mentioned 154...
Everyone in BS overreacts, remember that next time when it's not Floyd on the hot seat.

The whole Floyd fighting Cotto at his weight was a load of rubbish, Cotto isn't a 154 pounder anymore than Floyd is, Cotto is too big for 147 but too small for 154 whereas Canelo is a big 154 pounder and that's why we wont see this fight at 154. Floyd beating Cotto at 154 gives off this illusion that he fights bigger guys when it's simply not true.

Sr will always counsel Jr not to fight at 54. These comments from him shouldn't surprise anyone. He doesn't like Floyd fighting guys bigger than himself. This doesn't mean that if the Canelo fight happens it will be at 47. Floyd can always accept it at 54 against his trainers advice.

Yeah, sure Floyd is going to come out and say "Guess what, I am asking Canelo to lose weight just like when I got on Pac's case for asking Cotto to lose weight so I hope you all will accept that I am a hypocrite!". Yeah, Floyd is going to admit to that, sure.

I think the fight will happen in Sept. And even though I think the fight should happen at 154 just so people don't have any excuses if it happens at 147 I don't have a problem with it. In Canelo's last 10 fights how many were actual light middleweights?. Canelo wants this fight its just a matter how bad. if Floyd draws a line in the sand at 147 Canelo really won't have a choice but to accept if he wants to become a PPV draw because at the end of the day he has no real bargaining power and if you want the crown you have to fight on the kings terms.
