Again, Manny ask for a 2lbs CW to a 147 fighter at WW, Manny was also going up in weight and was not a WW champion.
Floyd is asking for a 7lbs CW to a 154 fighter at WW, while Floyd is a 154 champion himself.
I don't have the fight night weights for Pac vs Cotto, but I'm certain Cotto had at least 10lbs on Pac comes fight night.
Again, Manny fought Margarito at 150, weighing in 144 and stepping in the ring at 145. While Margarito weighed in 150, and stepped in the ring at 165. That's 20 lbs weight disadvantage for Pac.Last edited by BuckToothed; 05-16-2013, 05:49 PM.

This is the first time I will come out and say this, but I think it's about time I started defending Floyd Mayweather from all you ignorant mother****ers.
Sure we can talk about he's not living up to legacy and this and this and that, but when it comes to Floyd Mayweather, you guys have to understand one thing, and understand, I have never been able to admit this...
**** LEGACY. Homeboy is making money and bull**** walks period. Sure, he ducked Pacman and it was obvious, but truth be spoken that Pacman was lucky they never fought because every boxing analyst knows Pacman didn't stand a chance with him no matter how we hyped it. I don't know what fear Mayweather had in his heart, but Pacman was never going to beat him period anyway.
When it comes to Alvarez...where the **** does a 22-year old come in to play in the hearts and minds? He was merely a replacement because all we ever look forward to is a fight where WE HOPE, he (Floyd) is going to lose. For me, Cotto had a better chance at Mayweather than this guy. He has no stamina (proven), and I'm actually impressed with Mayweather Sr's response to this weight issue because let's be real, Mayweather truly is a 140-pounder and Alvarez is a fat b*tch. Why does the #1 P4P have to go up in weight to fight the newbie? Make the newbie come down in weight to him...**** THAT. Mayweather ain't gotta go chasing nobody at this point. Name me one fighter who stands a chance from 140 through 154 lbs RIGHT NOW that can **** with Floyd...NOBODY.
Sure there's ALOT of asterisks in Mayweather's career, but he played his cards and he will leave the sport healthy and very, very, very, very rich (LMAO). Why can't we just appreciate him for that?
When it is all said and done and we're all old and talking about "the good 'ole days", I can guarantee you that he will be spoken of among the greats whether we like it or not (RIGHT NOW).
Appreciate the fact that we're living testament to that man's legacy. Sure, he skipped on GOAT fights, but I give him credit on the fact that he was GREAT in skill, and played his cards the best way possible.

Your such a kid hater , if only you held the same standards for everybody else , you cant even name another fighter that you EXPECT to move up and give 20 lbs away , you cant even name another fighter that you EXPECT to move up because a much bigger guy is calling a smaller guy out , your double standards are what make you a joke .
Is that all you can say , ignorant fanboys lol .
Since Cotto is a blown up WW and Manny is a blown up LW, does that mean it was Cotto that ducked the rematch? We'll based on your new tuned, it seems that way.

The thing with Manny is forced a lousy 2lb CW on him then beat him and then refused to fight the very same guy without a CW , if 2lb weight dont matter then why was it a deal breaker if Manny never got it , now convert that to 20lbs , if Floyd were to take a 150 CW would you be happy with that ?
If you cant grasp the slight of hand in how Manny dealt with Cotto in the 2 fights deals then your not looking , all your on about is all about politics not actual boxing .

However, Floyd Sr stated that Canelo can only be 150 at fight night!!! LMAO
And for the record, Manny never asked for an entire division drop for his opponents.
