The difference is he's not pursuing Canelo, Canelo is asking to fight Floyd. It makes him a hypocrite if he called out Canelo and then said only at 147. That's different from him getting called out and saying ok I'll fight but at my weight.

Whats funny is that Broner has been looking like he could test the water at 154 lately so If we don't get a Canelo- Mayweather we may get a Broner-Canelo showdown in the future, broner is dumb enough to take that fight at 154....
I'd like that. In a couple of years that should be really tasty! Maybe not even that long.

Bend???????? maybe you should go tell Floyd SOMETIMES money is less important than making an A$$ and Hypocrite of himself and making his fans (well they made themselves) look like fools with all the DRAIN talk they did for years. SHT was slung at the fan and what goes around, comes around and the SHT just hit back.

I agree but first off he shouldn't have been fighting Matthew Hatton in the first place lol j/k

After the Guerrero fight theres no way Floyd should be fighting at welterweight he looked huge. Don't bs me about his weigh in weight. Guererro pushed Floyd good and he took the shots and pressure really well which surprised me. Whatever Floyd is taking, its making him a better fighter. Floyd should be fighting at 154 and this argument with Canelo is just another hype machine. I used to think Canelo could take Floyd from what i have seen lately with Floyd looking like he did against Guererro and Canelo not showing all his tools against Trout, I don't think Canelo is ready for Floyd just yet. But looks like the fight is going to happen.

Floyd weighed 148 30 days before the fight!!!!!! Dude is a small welter wt that can easily make 140 which I think is his best weight. As you can clearly see Floyd has consistently weighed 146 for most of his fights @ 147. No way he should be campaigning @ 54!!!!

Don't kid yourself. If Mayweather didn't want the fight at all, he would say not interested at any weight. But he shot himself in the foot with all his WEIGHT DRAIN hoopla.

Wouldn't it be something if Canelo said yes and came down and whopped his son and took off back to 154lbs..wouldn't that be something...

I don't think Canelo has the genetics for this. He struggles with weight so much. He's too small for 160 but can't make 154 without gassing out and he definitely can't make 147. He's built weird...

Look, Floyd is already a legend and cash-cow and doesn't need to fight Canelo for anything! If Canelo really wants the fight for big dollars and a chance to be the 1st to beat Floyd, then he's got to come down to 147, to fight, simple and shut! If he can't make 147, then he should stay in his lane(154) and stop picking on a smaller fighter in a different lane! If you want Mayweather, and all the perks that come with it, you got to go to him, not the other way round. "F" catch-weights!
