Truth be told, the problem is Floyd Jr and Canelo are separated by almost two weight classes but I do think Floyd is kind of taking it a bit far. If he truly does want to consider fighting Canelo then it would be more optimal to suggest a same day weigh in or a catch weight of 152 pounds w rehydration clause..Canelo obviously can't make 147.. Whats funny is that Broner has been looking like he could test the water at 154 lately so If we don't get a Canelo- Mayweather we may get a Broner-Canelo showdown in the future, broner is dumb enough to take that fight at 154....

Canelo wont get the credit if he beats Floyd because we all know Floyd dont belong at 154lbs. Don't say Cotto was at 154ld and use that because we all know Cotto don't belong at that weight but for him not wanting to go the extra mile, he fights there and is more comfterble doing it then cutting extra 7lbs. But come on don't say Floyd is this and that because he ain't the one speaking or making desicions yet,
Btw I am at work typing fast on my phone so sorry for the misspell and stuff....

"I think Miguel Cotto is a hell of a fighter, a strong solid 154-pounder. Pacquiao was trying to fight him at 147. I would never want to put a fighter in a position where he's not comfortable. I want a guy when he's at his best. If he's at his best at 154 and he's strong and he's solid, then that's the fight we're fighting at. I walk around at 150, but at the end of the day - skills pay the bills.
De La Hoya - Pacquiao fights him at a catch-weight. Cotto - he fights him at a catchweight. When I fought De La Hoya, I said 'give him to me at 154.' With Cotto - 'give him to me at 154.' Give me the guys where they are comfortable at their weight so there are no excuses."
This quote says it all. All I hear now from team Mayweather is quack, quack.....

Shame
Such a shame. If they are to get it on, surely for the point of legacy (if that matters) it has to be 154. If he want's to fight a Mexican at 147 there is plenty of them.
Hell, why not beat on Pacquiao 50 million years too late? I'd rather watch that than Canelo at welterweight.
