Which is why we need same day weigh ins, and I'm not saying this in reference to Canelo-Mayweather solely, but same day weigh ins would bring more life into the sport, the sport would be more entertaining and Mayweather won't get shammed for "running" against Baldomir and DLH. Margarito wouldn't be able to laugh at solid punches hittin' him on the chin. Lets at least admit that while Canelo is skilled, good technically, defensively, very good power and puts his punches together very well with a lot of conviction, it's the 20+ pound advantage coupled with that, that has everyone creaming their pants for this match up. Just admit it
If Canelo entered the ring weighing 160+, I strongly doubt the interest would be this big.

I have given up on Floyd , he is a great fighter without any doubt . He has robbed the fans of many great fights over the years because he didn't want to get beat . I'm glad he has been so sucessful and hope he keeps his 0 . I will never pay to see him fight somebody that he is clearly over-matched which honestly includes most fighters these days . When he came in grossly over-weight against JJM I knew the score then . Manny should tap out , floyd should go for 50 and tap-out . Thier are lots of exciting fights out there , young guys ready to mix it up and give the fans what they pay for . Floyd has never been repectful towards his fans and the ones that make him " Money/May".
Floyd doesn't have and will never have a fight anyone will want to see 20 yrs from now , to me that is Floyds legacy .

When a fighter claims to be the Greatest of All TIME there are things
"EXPECTED" of him "IF" he is being serious.
1. You don't avoid threats you seek them out !
2. You don't vacate the property when an elite is ready for you and retire from boxing you go take the challenge.
for instance take the Greatest that ever laced up gloves, in my opinion, he sought out threats, he called them out,
Liston
Fraizer
Foreman
I can't think of any three fighters that posed greater threats than these.
I can't think of one that Challenge Ali that he didn't fight, it was more if not conclusively Ali on the hunt for any challenge.
3. May Jr has the skills to whup the average to better fighter but there are holes in his armor:
a. He chooses the easy way OUT
b. He takes the challenges, claiming to never turn down a challenge but that in reality it applys to smaller fighters like Hatton and poor little JMM, look how he cheated on him, how can you as a fight fan respect that ?
c. He wouldn't fight Cotto in his prime in 2007 had to retire, flat turned down a prime Margo but later after Cotto had been ravaged and not even close to what he once was Jr made a big deal of fighting him declaring him undefeated and happy to fight him in his weight division and declared he didn't like to weight drain any fighter and wanted them to be comfortable with their weight but we have read lately he wants Canelo to fight him at 147 !??
d. He said he never turns a challenge down but he to my knowledge has not taken up the challenge by Sergio Martinez to destroy him.
e. what Jr does best is cherry pick , waits for an advantage, like size or age or ring warn, then claim SUPREMACY.
The boxing Public will choose, we all have that right who is da man, we all have our criteria for who is the best.
There is no one in the WW's that will pose a problem so the natural thing to do is look for a challenge. He has a title at 154, DEFEND IT !!!
Sergio said he could fight at 154 and NOW that he is breaking down Jr could win that fight
Triple G said he could fight at 154
Lara fights at 154 etc............
But what has sealed the deal that Jr will not come close to being considered the GOAT is the way that he handled the case with Manny Pacquiao. From 500 year ago bullets that can't penetrate due to drugs to all the many Excuses he went thru to """"""""""""AVOID"""""""""""" a PRIME PACMAN
and NOW its OVER
He might get into the hall of fame but its "SHADY", and Shameful !!!!!!
Now if he had kept his mouth shut about being great etc....... I wouldn't be writing this or making a big deal of it.

When a fighter constantly gloats about their skill, money, blah blah blah, then also consistently ducks their biggest challenges... no, they are not the best. They obviously think they are, but that simply isn't an opinion based in reality. He won't fight Canelo at the weight he should fight him at, he's scared to death of Canelo and Pacman, he wouldn't fight Shane or Oscar til they were past their prime... and the list goes on and on.
Let him prove his worth (which he will never do, especially with 5 fights left). I'll admit he's good, has speed and good defense, but no, I'm not admitting he's great. He didn't fight the toughest challenges. He's only a champ at pomposity and ducking. Nothing more. He claims to be the best ever, yet he'd never have lasted 5 rounds with a prime Sugar Ray Leonard.

He's only allowed to fight guys at 154-160 who are way bigger than him in the ring and naturally. Not only that but he wont get any extra credit for doing it. Its mandatory that he fights Canelo. Its just an average fight and a fight he should take or he's a coward.
You cant have that. It has to be fair. If you want him to fight them then fine but you better be ready to bow down and give mad credit if he wins because its extroidanary for him to beat a very good fighter who is nearly 25 pounds bigger than him that night and more than that natrually. Thats not a regular fight no matter how anyone wants to spin it
