    SMH...

Cotto's done guys. His losses in the ring aren't what's ruining his career, it's these ******ed business decisions that he's making.

First he takes the Trout, which was a dumb move, and now he's thinking about training with Roach?!

This dude is slowly going from bad to worse. Smh

IMO, cotto needed roach for trout, and needs Diaz for canelo.

Trout was somebody that cotto needed to quit hopping around and being cute, needed to stand his ground, assert himself and become a bully. Canelo is somebody who cotto needs to box, much like he did against margarito in the second fight.

          Cotto is done

Miguel Cotto lost to feather fisted Trout, and as usual fatigued after the 6th round. Retire please before you get hurt, Saul Alvarez is just using your name to make money $$$ and to knock you out. Canelo knows it. Miguel Cotto is a commodity $$$, cha ching$$$, cha ching$$$, que viva Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if Roach will be of any help to Cotto at this point in his career...
I think he needs to stay with Pedro Diaz to refine his boxing skills and ring IQ further, and just hire Memo or Conte as a S&C coach.

I know, I know, I shouldn't be recommending ex-PED dealers, but in Cotto's case, he needs all the help he can get for a Canelo clash.

Yeah, I fully agree... but I wouldn't use the Margarito rematch as an example.
Margarito was a dead man and damaged goods going into that fight.

Sure, but his approach to the margarito II fight was the correct approach (assuming margarito was the margarito that beat him down years prior).

He would be best served with the same approach against canelo IMO. A lot of lateral movement, changing angles, sticking and moving, aswell as not being pressured the entire fight, but standing ground every once in a while and getting inside/physical with canelo, pushing him back and such.

If only Cotto had the same motor on him when he was in the ring with judah. He was walking forward in every round of that fight.
