Also the same guy who not only fights a Mosley who was fighting at 147 and had to come up he targets him because he was washed up. Instead of fighting the top contenders at 154. Just because he fought Trout that just washes everything away?
Wait, did he not fight Trout? Did I just imagine that happening?

Did Canelo not specifically ask for that fight, and even wanted Floyd instead, but Floyd chose Guerrero, then said, let's see what happens with Canelo/Trout.

Its amazing to see there are boxing fans that actually believe this. Its like believing in Bigfoot without a shadow of a doubt.

Posters like you do this everytime. If you think Canelo beats floyd or you want the fight cool-me too. WHen he wins stick to what you said before the fight-dont flip flop.
When have I ever flip flopped? If Floyd beats someone then that's that. Don't put words in my mouth. He doesn't fight a single fighter that you can't flip flop on. The moments leading up to a fight cloud your judgement, and you start hyping up a fighter that really shouldn't be that hyped up in the first place, then after the fight, you come back to your senses, and remember how garbage the guy really was.

This isn't one of those moments where you can flip flop. Canelo is a definite threat, and there's a reason why Floyd is playing hard to get. There's also a reason why Floyd personally goes to the Ortiz/Berto fight.

Obviously this fight isn't going to happen. The best case scenario for both guys is that it replaces the Pacweather 'rivalry' and helps both of them sell their fights.

Let me know when they're in the ring.

How old was mosley in 2010? F'n 40??? For a 40 year old to be #3 P4P is a dam shame in boxing! That's why ALL POLITICS baby. It was just to sell fights. Give Mosley one last payday. And he's earned it, so why not give it to the guy.
Where is Juan Manuel Marquez rated P4P right now? How old is he again?

Anyone would think that some people don't want the fight to happen, just to say "I told you Mayweather was a ducker". It's like it would vindicate them and give meaning to their lives, which is just sad.

I thought people here were supposed to be boxing fans. Surely we all want this fight to happen, so lets sit tight and hope it does. Devoting so much energy into arguing over the potential outcome of NEGOTIATIONS? Really?

And let's be honest, after Guerrero fiasco, Showtime will be pushing on Floyd to sign this fight.

Mayweather did 1.4 million PPV buys with Mosley and Mosley is black American. And Canelo wasn`t even well know at the time so i don`t want to read no:"Canelo contributed to those PPV`s" when In reality Floyd helped Canelo become a star by having him on his undercards.

And Canelo fought Trout on free showtime and Trout was a fighter coming off a win over a popular opponent. They made the tickets dirt cheat to give the Illusion that Canelo is worth more then he really is.Canelo don`t deserve even 30% in a fight with Floyd.
