I don't think Canelo is ready yet for Mayweather based on what I saw against Trout, I think him and his team realise that too, the long they wait for the Mayweather fight the better chance he has in winning and making more money doing so, they should take a Cotto fight on PPV, then after he wins they should defend his belts against a good young named fighter and then go after the older Mayweather, but they should work on his stamina in those two fights before Mayweather and then I would favour him over Mayweather.

This is exactly what it is.....canelo camp seen he is not ready for a Floyd fight so they going to act like they don't need to or want to fight him all of a sudden the same way arum made all types of bull**** so PAC won't get embarrassed by Floyd.

Actually I didn't like, because I don't think Marquez is that good. That was a pure money grab. Let me ask you this, what would be gained by Floyd taking the risk of fighting a guy 20 lbs heavier? Canelo is nothing more than a GBP hype machine, he is nothing special. He is the 154 version of Khan. There is no upside to that fight. If he wins, everyone will say he's supposed to win, if he loses he lost to a younger bigger guy. Fighting Canelo does nothing for him and his legacy.

If Floyd demands that the fight takes place at 147 his most comfortable weight, then what? Will Canelo do that?

There are plenty of legit fights for Canelo to take. It's the right attitude not to obsessed over a guy who clearly is not interested and want to make things difficult. It's so embarrassing that the interest is not mutual when fighting the ginger kid is a guaranteed PPV blockbuster. Let him get bashed for fighting Alexander. If Cotto is not available, there is Lara, Vanes, Angulo, Kirkland...

Money is fighting his mandatory at 147 lber (the Ghost). He only had two fight at 154.

He will give up the WBA belt, he is NOT a true 154 lber. Canelo is a true 154 lber so he should fight his mandatory in his own weight class name El Oro de Guantanamo.

Again Money will give up his 154 belt, he has done it before...he will do it again.

Canelo should fight true 154 lbers, not part-time 154 lbers.

Canelo only became Money mandatory last Saturday.......less than 7 days ago, prior to that, Money was not obligated to fight him. Oh and once again, Money is fighting his mandatory.

Canelo has been El Oro de Guantanamo mandatory for MONTHS, why no urgency there.

The WBA title is also overdue a mandatory fight (Trout was mandatory longer than Lara).
The above is irrelevant as all I am Saying if Floyd chooses not to fight at 154 he should drop his belt.

But it was ok for Fraud to come in on fight night 16lbs over the weight limit vs JMM. Fraud had to pay JMM 500 or 800K because he was 2lbs over during the weigh in. So PLEASE stop making excuses for Fraud.

The 118-109 card was a joke, but there was no robbery here. Trout should've been more effective with his punches and not flicker the jab 150 times in a round w/out landing anything of significance.

This. I have no argument with the decision. The punches that mattered came from Cinnamon, and the main gap in punches landed was the quantity of jabs Trout threw.

I like Trout a lot, but he almost got KTFO in the 7th round. Folks refusing to give Canelo his just do either a) are tired of seeing him because he gets a lot of exposure or b) don't like how he carries himself outside the ring.

He beat Austin though. Damn near laid him out.

I would LOVE to see Mayweather/Canelo, but I'm not sure Floyd is interested in fighting a young natural 154 lb'er.

He will drop the belt, don't worry he has before. Money beat Angel in May thus becoming No Doubt mandatory (Angel was No Doubt mandatory before that) and went to jail...He come out in no shape to fight and plus the WBA and No Doubt didn't push the issue.

So this is a moot point, Money will drop that belt because he's not a true 154lber and he's doing something Canelo isn't doing..fighting his overdue mandatory
