The first part of the quote was from Dan Rafeal, he has also tweeted and talked about the same thing in interviews. Dude's as much of an insider as anyone. He wouldn't write that unless he had facts to back it up. You think one of Mayweathers people is going to go on record saying he ducked? Get real dude.
Look, I agree if Floyd takes the fight he gets props. Would be his biggest challenge since he came up from 135. But his history says he will opt to take the safest fights.
I am a Canelo fan and I am not one of those that says Canelo will knock Floyd out, Mayweather could very well box circles around him.
But if its such an easy fight why isn't Floyd signing up for it? He makes money off the PPV and the backend sales, why wouldn't he want to make the most money? He only has a few fights left.
I keep hearing the same thing..Floyd is ducking Canelo. So anybody who challenges Floyd and he doesn't accept the challenge, he is ducking? Why do people fail to acknowledge the 20 lb. size advantage, that is very reasonable and credible concern. Why is Canelo not challenging Martinez or Chavez? Why isn't he catching any heat for not doing that? People always want to criticize Floyd and nobody else. There are several good fights for him at 147,but people won't be happy unless he fights a Klitchko.
Floyd 154 champ
canelo 154 champ
what's the problem again?
Money is fighting his mandatory at 147 lber (the Ghost). He only had two fight at 154.
He will give up the WBA belt, he is NOT a true 154 lber. Canelo is a true 154 lber so he should fight his mandatory in his own weight class name El Oro de Guantanamo.
Again Money will give up his 154 belt, he has done it before...he will do it again.
Canelo should fight true 154 lbers, not part-time 154 lbers.
so he can win belts at 154, but not defend them, and he's supposed to be pfp#1?
lol.
thanks for admitting he's afraid though. guys only ditch belts when they're afraid to defend them.

Well he can't hold two belt in two difference division so he has to drop one eventually...what does that have to do with be afraid...it's the rules. So he will drop the belt in the division he has had only two fights in.
