I don't understand people on this forum. You agree that Floyd is better then Canelo so whats the point in pushing for this fight? Oh yeah its because Canelo has a huge size advantage... Like really? I still think Floyd would beat him but people have to stop being hypocrites. I mean really just think about it. If Canelo was a 147er then what? Floyd isn't going to fight Canelo anyway because he is too big. He took that gamble when he fought Oscar awhile back because he had to make a name for himself. He is not at that stage of his career to take that kind of a risk. I hope he does because he will still beat him.

      Smh...
Err no...just no. Floyd has been competing in the division below for nearly a decade as a world champion and a top 3 p4p fighter. Where has RG been making his name for the last ten years? You floms are just funny.

If Floyd came in weighing 151 and Alvarez came in weighing 174, Floyd would weigh 86.8% of what Canelo weighs.

Haye beat Valuev while weighing 69.2% of what Valuev did (Haye 218, Value 315)
Byrd beat McCline while weighing 79.3% of what McCline did (Byrd 214, McCline 270)
Adamek beat Grant while weighing 83.1% of what Grant did (Adamek 217, Grant 261
Holyfield beat Foreman while weighing 80.9% of what Foreman did (Holyfield 208, Foreman 257)
Sultan Ibragimov beat Shannon Briggs while weighing 81% of what Briggs did (Ibragimov 221, Briggs 273)
Chambers beat Dimitrenko while weighing only 82% of what Dimitrenko did (Chambers 205, Dimitrenko 250)

If these guys did it with a bigger weight disadvantage, and Floyd is the best of all time, he shouldn't have much of a problem with Alvarez. Many of the fights above were near shut-outs.

              Looks like Sulaiman agrees:

It wouldn't be that cool, since Floyd just fought at 154, and is supposedly #1 at SWW, but if Canelo is willing to go down to 150, it'd be better than no fight. What's your call?

Floyd shouldn't fight Canelo or Martinez because he just a straight coward that's all:. It's not the weight or size and never will be, he's scared as $h!t of little midget who have to eat a few meals a day just to weight as much as he does.

leave it alone dude, people want to see Mayweather fight these MUCH bigger guys because it gives them a feeling of Mayweather being beat, they are not thinking fairly or rational.

I would have settled for a May-Pac fight but it never happened.

Floyd has the WBA jmw title man, I think that is the only reason people are talking about this fight. Shoot, I'd like to see Canelo against Sergio too but I know Sergio would destroy him.
