Of course weight matters, why do you think Floyd continues to fight smaller guys (Marquez/Guerrero)

but when we bring up Floyd taking on the smaller Marquez who was only used to fighting at 130 and recently 135, Floyd fans say that the size difference didn't matter. They like to have it both ways ..... sad but true.

Imagine Marquez going from being hit by smaller 130-135 fighters to 147 .... according to Floyd fans, that was OK because Marquez was P4P #2 ..... but then it should be more true for the #1 P4P Floyd to fight someone where he holds a title, right?

I don't doubt for a second it wasn't 20lbs, but I gotta wonder about your eyes if you think he was within a couple of lbs of Marquez. But really, that's the point. If you can't trust a straight shooter like JMM on these matters, how can you take Floyd's word for it, especially after blowing off the catchweight? Have him step on the HBO scale, and then talk about his fight night weight.

Don't be fooled Floyd come in heavier than 151 in the ring. You think he really allows Hbo to weight him before he goes into the ring...i don't belive his ring in weight, look at him years ago as a welterweight and look at him today after he gets in the ring with Guerrero, not weighing what hbo tells us his is weighing.

WBC just weighed him 30 days out for Guerrero and he was 148. Could be after a work out but you are talking what a few more pounds max. He doesnt cut for a 30 day out weigh in.

Floyd really is that small.
