Trout was the BUSIER fighter, especially with his jab. Knowing that he was going to be robbed after the 4th, he was the PRIMARY aggressor, which should have been Canelo's modus operandi (MO)...

Don't let that ONE KD skew your perceptions...
Yes, I am a fan of Hop. And he has won and been the Ring General in fights where he barely thew 15 punches in the round. I.E. a lot of em were in display against Calzaghe.

Being busier is not automatically Ring Generalship, unless you're also effective with it and hurting the other guy in some form of fashion, none of which happened against Canelo. When Canelo was not throwing, he was controlling the round with head movement, when he was throwing, he was landing the cleaner punches.

Actually, it was Canelo who was outboxing Trout.

Trout was a Calzaghe-Judah hybrid tonight, pawing on the outside and slapping on the inside. Why trout went full feather fist pawer is a wonder to me. He was scared

I still had it 6 rounds a piece an neither guy looked good. Fight was a letdown
We agree there. Neither guy made me say "I want to see them in with Mayweather".

Canelo should fight the Lara/Angulo winner next.

He lander cleaner effective punches. Trout missed most of his power shot. Only punch trout was landin was the jab how is trout gonna win off that?

lol IMO it could have gone either way. I really don't care about the decision as it was an amazing fight lol but some Canelo fans are going overboard also

I guess we can agree to disagree. I honestly didn't feel it was a hard fight to score.
I only agree that it wasn't a hard fight to score in terms of who was having a easier time in there.

Canelo was having an easy time in there, whether he was on offense or on defense. Technically, it was a close fight on a round by round basis but overall, Canelo had him from A to Z. I know Mex Kellerman would agree with his "Who would you rather have been in that round" scoring criteria.

What exactly did trout do besides jab the air 75% of the fight? I actually wasnt impressed with either fighter to be honest, canelo would only fight hard for 30 seconds of the round but he showed great defense and slipping punches.

You think Canelo should fight Floyd next??? Canelo didn't even seem all for it after the fight, it was the first time I've heard Canelo asked about Floyd and he didn't call him out.

I wouldn't mind seeing Floyd fight the Peterson-Matthysse winner, but I doubt that happens.
