Great fight. Canelo definitely won the fight. Damn near got the KO in the 7th. Gotta love Trout, he is a stand-up guy, but he definitely lost the fight. He was busy at times, but also missed a lot while Canelo was showing his underrated defense. Canelo hurt him several times in the fight, and floored him for the first time in his career. I do wish Canelo would not have coasted the 12th round, but regardless, he definitely won the fight in my eyes.

yeah thats demotivational as ****. I'm not taking anything away from canelo -except the terrible scores- and I'm not crying robbery but I simply scored it for Trout lol.
But I guess Canelo fans are on full attack mode as many people have screamed robbery

I see yours, that canelo's allusiveness frustrated Trout and made him fight out of his comfort zone. I'm saying I don't believe that is why Trout fought the way he did, I believe it was the scoring. I trying to provide the rationale for seeing it my way. I don't know why insults would come into play at all nothing offensive was said.

I scored one round even. But ALOT were close. That being said I had it 114-114 a draw. I can see why either fighter deserved it since it was close but Alvarez surprised me with his head movement and his quick reflexes. I'll have to go back and watch it again but it was a good fight!

The game is called the sweet science, its 'hit and not be hit' not get hit and hit him a few times harder. Trout won that fight, I didn.t know much about him till now even after the Cotta victory, but he's definately earned one more fan, a real nice person even though he got cheated. I would say I hope Floyd kicks Canelo's a55, but that robbery of JLC was unforgivable. Lets hope they bash each other into oblivion.

why are people comparing floyd to trout. To me trouts a harder fight because of the style. Floyd a conventional fighter without thereach of trout. not to mention floyd dont have his legs anymore

i agree i had trout by 2 rounds, giving canelo a extra round maybe but still trout wins

My grandpops is right here next to me, man been watching boxing since the 50's..i'll transcribe his comments "Trout isn't using his advantages very well. He's letting this pink kid close the gaps and not throwing enough to the body to deter him. The kid is wide open to be hit but trout punches and steps back". I respect this man's opinion more than anyone in the world in terms of boxing because we are talking 60 years of boxing under his belt. Personally I think Trout did not expect Canelo to be able to counter him so effectively.
