canelo may did so few for the win, because he knew the scorecards and knew that this is enough here. so he just concentrated on the defense. and this helped him a lot. If he had to attack more, Trout could have countered him more and beat him even with a bigger difference. This open score card thing doesnt seems to be a great idea...

Hahahah let floyd put his backs on the ropes like he normally does..this kid rocked a 172 pound man with a half thrown right hand..what do you think he's going to do to someone without a reach advantage over him? You can block all the punches you want with your arms..but i'll tell you this Floyd ain't ever been hit nearly as hard as his body would against this guy. Not saying who will win but lets be real here..both men walk into that ring with disadvantages..Floyd at 28-32 maybe wins by landslide..this Floyd? Not so much.

Great fight. Canelo definitely won the fight. Damn near got the KO in the 7th. Gotta love Trout, he is a stand-up guy, but he definitely lost the fight. He was busy at times, but also missed a lot while Canelo was showing his underrated defense. Canelo hurt him several times in the fight, and floored him for the first time in his career. I do wish Canelo would not have coasted the 12th round, but regardless, he definitely won the fight in my eyes.

You keep mentioning this 71% miss rate, but you know that equates to a 29% connect rate? That's not an inaccurate fight, from what I've seen that's about average

When you equate height and reach into those factors that's huge...massively huge and when you take into account that trouts most common punch was a jab which normally has a high connection rate above the 20% he landed against a guy who as recently as this morning folks were saying has no defense or head movement..take that into account with the other guys offense who managed to have a higher connect rate and dropped his opponent. I have said from jump the scorecards were ridiculous but there were rounds were trout landed 9 total punches..9!!

GBP is corrupt. That fight was bought and paid for, no matter how you look at it. I had it a draw. The judges should be ban from boxing.

The game is called the sweet science, its 'hit and not be hit' not get hit and hit him a few times harder. Trout won that fight, I didn.t know much about him till now even after the Cotta victory, but he's definately earned one more fan, a real nice person even though he got cheated. I would say I hope Floyd kicks Canelo's a55, but that robbery of JLC was unforgivable. Lets hope they bash each other into oblivion.
