Also it's hard to judge marquez at 147 even when Floyd fought him. Look at his 147 opponent list... that alone there makes it hard to rate where he's at at 147. Even now the outcome with Floyd and Marquez will be the same, and he proved he belonged there when he should've gotten a close win over pac in their 3rd fight tbh.

Floyd fought twice at 154. So that means he can. That is like Manny fighting at 147 all those fights even though he came in below that often and fought guys that outweighed him by a substantial amount.

Different story, what it should read is this. What if he fought Taylor or Abrahm at 168 and won a title there, then didn't fight chad dawson or hopkins afterwards. Manny said it while training for Margarito for a 150 limit fight, that he can't do 154 and will never go above 147 anymore. That is why.

According to Floyd Sr, Cotto was too big, too strong, too technical, too everything but at the end Manny won that fight!
