Just what I was coming into post. He only selectively uses it.
I didn't hear him say that when Guerrero was being lined up " You know, it's like I always say, where was Robert Guerrero when Floyd Mayweather was 21"

Floyd needs to make this an exciting fight because he's missed out all the other exciting fights when they were exciting of recent years and fought them after they were exciting, or just not fought them at all

By the way I believe the Paul Williams fight was at a catch weight, and Martinez was also really mad about that, rightfully so of course but this is something that needs to be said.

Yea he wasn't happy that he had to cut weight to fight Williams at 157/158. He just weight 170 with a month to go to his fight, he hasn't fought at 154 for 4 odd years now, he would be having his 8th fight at MW, He fought Macklin and Barker at 160 instead of going after Cotto or Canelo at 154 for a bigger payday etc lol, he can't fight at 154 anymore period. If he makes 154 they would be passing IV on him at the weigh in.

I don't even know why it would even concern Floyd (or his fans) if Martinez makes 154 healthy or not tbh. If he wants to come down there and get it, why not give it to him??

Seems to me that Martinez not making the weight healthy is an excuse by Floyd fans for Floyd not fighting the man, strange. I mean of course his fans are also gonna say, "well Floyd won't get any credit". Like he gets much credit for the guys he does fight,lol. Hell, in fact I'm sure he'd have gotten more credit for beating a weight drained Martinez at 154 than he will for the Ghost at 147. So even then the weight excuse would be lame.
