Going by NSB standards... why is Sergio trying to fight a lightweight anyhow? Sergio calling out a lightweight who is he, canelo?

On a serious note though, Floyd has no business taking fights at 154, he doesn't look good. It's way above where he should be fighting, hell Lucas and Rios way about the same on fight night as Floyd. Floyds one of the few who fights at his natural weight and doesn't blow up after the weigh in. I don't get why people hate, when everyones asking him to do that. He started his career at 130, sure he got older and put on weight, but lets not forget you're asking him to fight wayyyy above his weight class.

That being said, I'd like to watch it but I know it won't happen. Canelo might and theres hope for that, but he has to beat trout first (which I think he will). If mayweather keeps to his word and contract, he'll have to be active and really that leaves him very few if any options.

I'd like to wait and see, but theres almost 0% chance he'll fight sergio, but we may get other fights people are asking for. It seems people want floyd to keep moving up until he loses, he could fight sergio at 160 win the middleweight title, and people would say why not goto 168 and fight ward? Stop ducking Andre.

147 is his top class, anything above that is just him pushing himself. He can't just keep climbing fighting bigger and bigger fighters until he loses. Andre ward some people have at P4P #1....why doesn't he move up? Why doesn't sergio move up or fight the big guys in his division? It all comes down to Mayweather is that good, and disliked at the same time. People will keep putting bigger and bigger walls in front of him til he can't break through them, while other fighters get a pass breaking through the same walls over and over...

but bring up Marquez 3 divisions (2 fights from) because of course he was #2 P4P

Marquez fit into 147 nicely, and KO'd pac. You can't compare the two. Marquez has proven he can fight at 147, Floyd has never looked good at 154, against guys who weren't even career 154 lbers.

I still don't see how Floyd fans can use the excuse of Martinez being weight drained as an excuse for Floyd not to fight him. However I do realize that this is beating a dead horse so what's the point??

The only one who fought a guy even lower than that was Floyd.

Marquez in 2008 was fighting at 130

Marquez in 2009 was fighting Floyd at 146

Oh but Floyd, who has already fought twice at 154 can't do it again? Crazy if you ask me!

Who gives a flying **** where he was when you were just a *****, he is here now and wants to fight. So stop all that noise and fight.

I like floyd but damn he is so repetitive with all his bull****. He just doesn't want to fight anyone that can put up a fight.

                  I won't support this con-artist any longer.

Marquez was PED'd up in that fight...any person who thinks otherwise is a fool. And I'm no Pac fan...

He proved it when? 2012 not 2009! See the difference?

Where was Marquez in 2008? Fighting at 130. See the difference?
