Bottom line....It was Hard for Margarito to be ranked when everyone at one time was afraid to fight him and avoided him. Kinda hard to climb the ranks if all the title holders duck you....

Just because I said the guy was ranked is in no way hyping him up. I thought he should have been banned from boxing period but the fact remains that he was the champ before the Mosley loss and the suspension. How many champs do you know that lose the title fight and completely drop out of the rankings? I can't think of any.

Ok...I had reviewed all ranking systems at that point, Margarito was no where to be found.

Espn, Fox, Boxrec and numerous of other websites, NOT 1 had Magarito ranked on P4P or at 147 or 154.
