As a whole, the Rios and Alvarado fight was a better fight. The only thing about Ruslan and Tim was that Bradley almost got ktfo a few times. It was a good fight but that's what made everyone love it show much. Tim fighting back out on his feet and getting rocked from one side of the ring to the other.

I saw someone fighting smart, throwing more punches and never letting Rios get set enough to rack up points. Two completely different things.

That's what I'm not getting. It's almost as bad as the commentary on the night of the fight. Praising a man's(Rios') defense when he had none

Garcia's brother ran the majority of the fight against Salido. Inside game is obviously not one of Mikey's fortes.

Is there anyone who isn't a drunken Mexican that thinks Alvarado ran?

It seems like the only people who agree with the TS are his south of the border pals.

It spelled disaster all over, and it almost was. A fight that he should have won at least 8-4 or 9-3, he himself made it 115-113, 114-113. That was his own fault. He's lucky those sharks they call judges were feeling generous and didn't rob him blind for his victory lap running starting in round 9 or 10. I was going for him too, I wanted him to win, but before the scorecards were read I posted that he'll have himself to blame if he gets robbed. You don't start running when you are the lesser name of the two. You could think you have all 12 rounds in the bag, you don't start running.

The only thing is that he was covering more than Margarito.

I think Alvarado won, fought very intelligently but I do think it's fair to say in the last two rounds he ran a bit, check the tape.

I'm not saying he's a coward, or a bum or a sissy. I'm just saying in the last two rounds he was on his bicycle.

Rios lost fair and square, and gassed IMO at the end.
