June Options for Golovkin. Who should he fight?

No, you want to complain about the top 10 guys ducking him and then you compare his situation to Sergio's and say "we scared Sergio fans" should empathize with his situation. When I state that Sergio moved up and made a name for himself by beating the champ, you say it's a plan to see Golovkin fail.
When i say that he can bide his time by fighting the next best available middleweight contenders, you say they aren't good enough. So, i'm not sure what you want us to say really because you obviously don't want him to do what Sergio did when he has in the same predicament.
As i've stated, you just want to bash the rest of the top 10 guys for either offering up money related reasons for not fighting 3G or that they already have something lined up. I've heard you bashing Macklin who literally has 1 round in a year and a half and when he says that all he wants is a tune up fight to shake the rust, you claim he is also ducking. That really isn't a fair perspective to have honestly.
When Golovkin or his team make a fight with a severely overmatched guy ready to retire though, there were no complaints at all regarding a ranking, nor when he fought Rosado. When I mentioned possibly fighting one of these seemingly available middleweights while waiting for one of the other top 10 guys to free up, it suddenly became all about their lack of a ranking.
I know i'm a big Martinez fan and I have maybe bashed Golovkin in the past, I think he is an exciting fighter and i would like to see him get a shot. If it isn't in the cards right now though....I mean there are more options out there in the meantime. They apparently aren't too appealing and I get that but what are his choices? Fight lesser ranked middleweights, have lmws move up to fight him, he could move down to 154, or he could move up.
I personally think a win over Ward or the winner of the Kessler/Froch fight would make him an immediate international sensation...I also think he is fully capable o doing something like that. Martinez has moved up two times to get to 160, Golovkin is a natural 160 pounder, I don't think a move up is some outlandish concept. A move down to 154 and a win over the winner of the Canelo/Trout fight would do the same for him as well.Comment

It's cute how Sergio's difficult career path touched your heart. Do homely, goofy looking guys deserve the same opportunities Sergio eventually got?Lol, I'm refering to Golovkin's opposition since 2010.
Why don't you compare that to Martinez's opposition from 2010 onwards since you want to compare resumes...
By the way, 10 years ago Martinez was a part time fighter who had to work three different jobs just so he'd have enough to eat. He didn't really start building a profile until the Saul Roman, Bunema, and Cintron fights since he got started late in the sport.Comment

He has a rematch clause with Quillin so he ain't fighting GGG.
Getting ready to fight Soliman most likely.
It's not the fighters it's the promoters, most fighters don't choose their opponent. At first I thought he just wasn't getting opponents because he was too high risk too low reward. Which makes complete sense.
But now, he has been on HBO twice, so that excuse can't be used anymore.
He'd be the "A" side in any American televised middleweight fight other than Martinez or Chavez. People that I know who aren't big boxing fans are talking about "the russian guy that knocks everyone out."
As far as Martinez goes, if he can't get Canelo, Cotto, Mayweather, Ward, (assuming he fights Chavez, wins, and continues with his career) who else can he fight that'll bring him more money?
I still refuse to believe that any boxer is afraid of another, but nobody is exactly cutting in line to get a shot at him.
GGG just needs to stay busy and fight on HBO, just knock everybody out and increase his popularity. It took Tszyu 3 years of fighting on american TV before he got his shot at a big name, GGG is already more known than Tszyu was after 2 HBO appearances. He just needs to keep winning and he will get in the ring with a big name sooner or later.Comment

How is Golovkin suppose to beat the champ when the champ is ducking him? Would Sergio be where he is now if Pavlik choose to fight guys like Murray instead of Sergio? No. When pavlik gave him a shot he didnt have a win at 160, and was a low reward/high risk fight coming off a Williams loss.
This is what i mean by sergio fans should empathize with Golovkin. Not to mention he spent 13 years fighting nobodiesComment

Can you read?
Well why don't you put things in context and ask yourself for a second why he chose Murray for his April 27 fight?
First of all, It is Martinez's return home in over a decade and he is expected to defend his title (WBC). If he were to fight a titleholder he could give the WBC (Sulaiman) an excuse to strip him again since they don't allow unifications; notice Martinez didn't choose Geale or Quillin either. Second, Murray is English and the Argentines hate the Brits because of the Falklands War; thus this match-up is a big draw over there. Result: 10,000 tickets were sold on the first day.Comment

I like Golovkin, I just don't like your nuthuggery and your insistence that GGG can fight 154 journeymen because the whole 160 division is "ducking" him.How is Golovkin suppose to beat the champ when the champ is ducking him? Martinez took a risk moving up and fighting Pavlik, but he was also the #1 ranked JMW and the WBC titleholder there. He moved up and fought Pavlik because he couldn't get fights at 154. It would be like GGG fighting Ward because he can't land fights at 160. Get it?How is Golovkin suppose to beat the champ when the champ is ducking him? Between 1998 and 2009 I count 11-12 years not 13, and that includes fights against P. Williams, Cintron, Margarito, Bunema, Saul Roman, and R. Williams; most if not all of which were prime top 10-15 contenders in their respective divisions at the time Sergio fought them so stfu w/the comparisons.Comment

No you dont, you hate him because he threatens Sergio, and the MW division is ducking him, i've made it clear showing you how the top 13 guys have said noComment
