Yep, the old double standards just as I suspected. Why should Haye chance his number one ranking and the payday that comes with being a mandatory? He's already beaten Chisora who beat Helenius, and went the distance with Vittles. The Dimitrenko fight was nearly a year ago and Ustinov never beat a top 10 rated fighter. Same thing, different standards.....go figure.

And lets notvforget the difference in experience. Kubrat only has 17 fights.

You can twist and turn things as much as you like, but I have no double standards in this regard. I don't care about fucking rankings, to be honest, but if you think Haye deserves another shot right now, then lets end our discussion there. At least Pulev is working his way to a shot, like it should be if you have common sense.

How is he working his way to a shot? He beat one top 10 fighter. Haye beat Chisora and is a former title holder himself. Now Pulev is going to have a long stretch of inactivity just like Haye, except without the same world class experience. So how am I twisting things? Are these not facts I've pointed out? If its ok for one it should be ok for the other. If not than that IS a double standard. And its funny you say Pulev is working towards a title shot but should sit on his IBF ranking. Thats kind of an oxymoron, don't you think?

I guess you were wrong again, huh? In fact Im wondering if that was just something made up out of the blue since Pulev is negotiating with Haye now. And according to Pulev Haye is also neggotiating with Charr, Povetkin and Helenius. Helenius is injured again so he's likely out, but the others would all be solid choices (I actually detest a Charr fight, but he was good enough to fight Vits so.....no double standards).

Okay, so I'll let that one go.

The main point there seems to be left - with regards to this thread - is that Mr. Pulev seems to want to be active, and that his team is seeking another fight for him before Wlad. So he's not 'sitting around', as you suggested.

As I suggested it is a positive thing he doesn't sit around. Its also a good idea to get a Haye or Chambers fight and acclimate himself to some speed before trying to get in the ring with Wlad.

Just wondering...do you think your source lied or just made that stuff up about the IBF?
