I agree the alphabet boys are a major problem. But fighters have to start disregarding them and do what best for them. Sitting on the sidelines inactive is doing him no good. Fight for a different org. Better yet tell them all to screw and just clean out the division. Unrealistic, I know. Only in a perfect boxing world.
Should Pulev keep sitting around?

The fighters and their promotors do what they believe is best for them. It's about money. Maybe you as a hardcore fan (and me as well) hate the alphabetboys, but the average fan who tunes in on TV or comes to the card is more inclined to do so if a 'world' title is on the line. It's just a fact.I agree the alphabet boys are a major problem. But fighters have to start disregarding them and do what best for them. Sitting on the sidelines inactive is doing him no good. As Freedom corrected you in his thread yesterday, Pulev is unable to defend his European crown, as he would then lose his IBF status.I agree the alphabet boys are a major problem. So the hell with his European crown, its meaningless and holds no value on the world stage. And nobody corrected me on anything. Its a fact that he has been inactive for 6 months. Its a fact it will be upwards of a year should he wait for the Fury-Cunningham winner and even longer if he waits for Wlad should that fight not get made. Its a fact inactivity hurts a fighter. Sorry, but Im a boxing fan, not a fan boy like yourself. I don't employ double standards, I think fighters should stay active. You obviously feel Pulev is doing the right thing sitting on his ranking. Maybe he is. But what are you going to say when the WBA number one contender does the same thing? I can promise you will be singing another tune and it wont be so pleasant. Why? Because you have agenda based double standards.
By the way, how come you havent sigged the bet you asked for?Last edited by JAB5239; 03-21-2013, 04:43 AM.Comment

I think fighters should stay active too, but there are politics involved here, as you know, and things take time. I know this thread was an attempt to bait people into voting 'no', but people are not as naive as you think. So the hell with his European crown, its meaningless and holds no value on the world stage. IBF contact info including phone number and email address:
Contact IBF/USBA today with any inquiries you have regarding our convention, upcoming bouts, ratings, registration, or membership.
Boxing fans should express their displeasure with alphabet orgs directly - not sure if it will do anything but if enough people start calling 'em out then maybe they change their policy.Comment

Lol at an attempt to bait people. Read my initial post, I asked for opinions about whether he should remain inactive or pursue a fight. And learn to read, "no" is not a voting option.
AND.....you're still ducking that bet you wanted to put out there. Guess you don't have that much confidence in tomato can Pianeta as you liked to claim by insinuating he's a worthy opponent.Comment
