Why would Pulev let the IBF dictate to him when its obviously not a good career move? He's not bound by them and is ranked by other orgs. Seems like a ****** career move unless he's looking for the easiest path to a title shot and just wants to cash out. Would Wlad not give him a voluntary defense if he were not a mandatory? That would seem awfully odd considering 2 of his last 3 defenses.

Maybe it's because a mandatory slot gives you a bigger slice of the purse in other words for financial reasons?

So he's cashing out in your opinion? Wouldn't it be better to gain experience to give yourself the best shot at winning so you could reap the financial benefits as champion? Does this not devalue the division by top fighters waiting around instead of making beneficial fights?

That is precisely what Klit will do.

Instead've knocking him out, he'll stay behind his jab for the majority of the fight. That will have the Klit Lemmings telling us how great Pianeta is.

Sure. I'll bet you all of your points Pianeta doesn't win 4 rounds. Lets see how brave you are now.....sig it.

Nobody else wants to take a shot at answering this?

Most mandos do exactly that, so it's hardly a surprise. Maybe a stay busy fight comes up, but don't expect a challenge. If you dont like it, blame the alphabet boys.
