    Should Pulev keep sitting around?

Kubrat Pulev is the IBF mandatory for Wlad. He's been inactive nearly 6 months and has only beaten one ranked contender to get to his mandatory status. Should he follow the trend of recent heavyweights sitting around waiting to cash out with a title shot or actually fight another contender? Wlad fight is still a month and a half away, so by the time his fight got made it would render him inactive for almost a year.

    Vote and discuss.

He should wait. Why take the chance?

He should fight the best available instead of waiting.

I'd like to see him fight a top ranked contender, stay active whilst he waits for Wlad.

I don't think it would be wise for him to be inactive going into a fight with Wladimir. Maybe fight Haye, that would be huge.

I actually like the Chambers fight too, I can not help but notice all these guys Pulev has beaten have been slow as hell. The only guy he has fought with decent speed for a HW is Michael Sprott!

Pulev is the mandatory? How did happen? If he is he should stay busy gaining experiance.

Good points. Inactivity can only hurt him and I too like the idea of a Chambers fight to aclimate him with speed, but against a fighter who probably can't hurt him.

Its interesting that Thuggery voted he should wait with no explaination. Why do some fans on here want fighters to be inactive instead of fighting other top fighters? Whats funny is most can't stand David Haye for the same exact reason. Lol.....double standards, they make boxingscene go round!

He beat Alexander Dimitrenko who was top 10 rated at the time. Don't ask me how he got rated, I have no idea.

It's always better to be active from fans' point of view.

But then you get all the negativity for Wlad fighting likes of Pianeta and not waiting for Povetkin in the meantime, so yeah, I guess - double standards.

Chambers is a very good opponent who has fought at the top level, its a great opponent he can gain experience from. He'd learn more from Chambers than Ustinov, Dimitrienko & whatever other overgrown sloth hes fought combined.
I just can't get my head around why people don't want to see that fight.
Are they worried Chambers outboxes him and derails a potential Pulev vs Wladimir showdown or something?

Inactivity can only hurt him. He needs to stay sharp & gain experience if hes to present a threat to Wladimir. I'm a big Wlad fan but I feel most fans of Wladimir are happy with him fighting bums (Pianeta ). I personally want to see Wlad fight threats and guys who can potentially push him to the limit.

I think a lot of these guys realise only once they're in there, Wlads a lot faster than he may appear on the outside. I'm absolutely convinced you can't go from fighting these big plodders like Price, Valuev, Ustinov to a guy like Wladimir. To many make the mistake of thinking all you've gotta do to prepare is spar/fight guys of a similar stature to Wlad.

Being inactive & sparring Tye Fields is not going to prepare you for Wladimir.

I believe Pulev will fight the winner of Fury vs Cunningham for a final IBF eliminator.

He should stay active. Pulev is a good fighter but he doesn't stand a chance against Wladimir.

I'm a huge Wladimir fan but I'm half and half on his fight with Pianeta. I don't mind the fight taking place but then I also do mind it.

I don't blame him for raping another undefeated opponent but when the said fighter is another limited guy in Francesco who comes after another limited plodder like Wach.. Frustrating being a Wladimir fan.

Still, he's drawing huge crowds and making money. I think we'd all do the same thing.. still frustrating though.

He should man up and take the KO from David that David has been itching to give him.
