His resume ever since he landed at 147 is so weak.. it doesnt matter how you spin it.

Hatton and Marquez were all small guys and have no place in the division at all. Even Judah had no success at 147. What other big wins have any of these guys had at 147?

Mosley was shot, Ortiz is garbage, Cotto isn't what he used to be and he wasn't even a true elite fighter when he was at his best.

Mayweather has one career defining win north of 147. Only De Le Hoya

small correction, Cloud was #2 when Hopkins fought him. (Pascal was not ranked to ten due to year+ inactivity after losing to Hopkins ).

I believe Cloud was #3, but I, had him as 4-5 because of his fight with Campillo.

could was #2 but i wouldnt say he was the best. hes not that good of a fighter honestly, but for hopkins to beat him at 48 is still very special. theres no doubt about that.

who you?had you ever seen pascal fight before he fought hopkins?why would anyone think pascal could beat hopkins beside the age factor?in the first fight most felt like bernard won so why would anyone think pascal would have done any better in the rematch?like i said before why didn't i ever hear people calling for a pascal hopkins fight before?because pascal aint ****

Yeah it's better than most but nowhere near as good as it could have been, based on what was available.

Last Friday, Bernard was over 48 years old, inactive, and coming off his most convincing loss.

Analysts and fighters had the fight 50/50 with a slight edge to the younger man, casinos had Bernard at +165. Which I took.

this is my point its the age factor if not for bernards age no one would think cloud would beat bernard so bernard is getting extra credit for beating people we would favor him to beat if he was younger even his loss to calzaghe people like to throw in the fact that he was 43 o k we understand

Yes I have seen Pascal fight before the Hopkins fight.

Uh, let me see, he beat undefeated favorite Chad Dawson, undefeated Adrian Diaconu twice in his first fight at 175 when no one else wanted to AD, and fought a war that was much closer than the judges had it against Froch. Hopkins was coming off an absolutely terrible performance against Roy Jones, where he did more crying than fighting, but luckily for him, shot Roy did no fighting at all.
