Seems like some obvious **** every single fighter goes through, no?

I mean if age wasn't a factor, Ray Leonard would still be considered the best active welterweight right now, so what's your point?

OF COURSE Bernard is the underdog because of his age, because as you get older, you get ****tier in just about every department.

Well considering Hopkins has 18 years of fighting past 30, he should have the best over 30 resume.

But Floyd's over 30 resume isn't bad or anything, it's actually add several good wins on his resume.

Since turning 30 he's beaten De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto.

I just like polls where Hopkins is the clear winner

Just like how Jones is here.

I agree it Jones here, but it's not the by 1,000 miles like everyone thinks. Toney was the best win going into the fight, for sure. After that, as far as going into the fight on fight night, Corrales and Castillo are the next two best wins. But given what Hopkins went on to do in his career, he's the 2nd best win. So Jones two wins there take him above. But the next are Floyd. Corrales and Castillo are the next best wins, while Genaro is about equal to when Jones beat Griffin/Hill.

But yeah it's Jones in my opinion. After 30 though, Floyd clearly has the better resume.

Hopkins was coming off an absolutely terrible performance against Roy Jones, where he did more crying than fighting, but luckily for him, shot Roy did no fighting at all.
who is diaconu?how has his career played out?i don't think the fight with pascal and froch was close you do well thats your oppinion me and the judges seen it different and yes he beat dawson that to me was his claim to fame but just because he beat dawson that doesn't make him a great fighter i honestly don't know how you can watch that fight with dawson and see a man that can beat bernard.
all you are doing is proving my point about expectations by bringing up the fact that hopkins didn't look good against jones these are the reasons some may see his opponents possibly beating him not because they themselves are considered great fighters or they are not styllistically made for hopkins

You almost forget how impressive Roy's resume was.

o k so where are bernards great wins in his 20's and 30's?
ray leonard was considered the best ww before his 40's and mid 30's

it's just how people made pacquiao out to be the best fighter because he was beating guys who were considered bigger than him but they were not necessarily that great of a win if it was someone other than pacquioa doing it.

if calzghe fought pavlik at a cathweight of 170 woould that have been a great win for him?no
if calzaghe fought winky wright at 170 would that have been a great win for him?no
if dawson would of beat pascal would that have been a great win for him?no
thats the point i'm trying to make if a great win for you is not also a great win for other fighters in your division than it's not that great of a win

Jones without a doubt. No one has done what he did, since that. His undefeated streak was Amazing
