Pascal was The Ring champion, which is the absolute best ranking you can have in a weight class. Pavlik was The Ring MW champion who wanted to come up regardless to fight Calzaghe, but Calzaghe ducked him. Not to mention Hopkins was underdog against all 3 of these guys.
how is that?he lost to dawson,i don't remember people asking for years to see bernard fight pascal but for years people did want to see him fight dwason but instead of fighting dawson he just chilled until pascal beat him and than went and fought pascal who stylistically we all knew bernard could and would beat.
bernard fought pavlik at 170 while pavlik was a middleweight he had the one fight with taylor at 166 and neither pavlik or taylor looked any good.
how much credit would calzghe had got for beating pavlik at 170?if calzghe fought pavlik at a catchweight instead of fighting dawson everyon would of been talking ****. how could he possibly been ducking pavlik?

hopkins was the underdog against pascal and cloud?
bernard is only the underdog in fights against pavlik because of his are not because people think his opponents are much better than him

His resume ever since he landed at 147 is so weak.. it doesnt matter how you spin it.

Hatton and Marquez were all small guys and have no place in the division at all. Even Judah had no success at 147. What other big wins have any of these guys had at 147?

Mosley was shot, Ortiz is garbage, Cotto isn't what he used to be and he wasn't even a true elite fighter when he was at his best.

Mayweather has one career defining win north of 147. Only De Le Hoya

small correction, Cloud was #2 when Hopkins fought him. (Pascal was not ranked to ten due to year+ inactivity after losing to Hopkins ).

                      Hindsite is 20/20

Last Friday, Bernard was over 48 years old, inactive, and coming off his most convincing loss.

Analysts and fighters had the fight 50/50 with a slight edge to the younger man, casinos had Bernard at +165. Which I took.
