I meant his new Showtime deal. The only other fighter with a ground breaking offer from a network was Tyson.

I mean the type of deal, where it's a game changer.

I honestly gave up on hoping Floyd would utilise the skills he has for the fans and his legacy by fighting the toughest challenges out there. I've learnt to accept he's in the fight business as a business first prizefighter first and foremost and doesn't care what his fans want. But he cries about his critics and tells us he's the best thing ever, yet never really goes for the fights we want.

Part of me admires the way he doesn't give a fcuk and just sticks two fingers up at what we all want and does his own thing making bank, the other part makes me think he's wasting such a talent and could be giving us so many better nights as fans...oh well, we can't change it, but the Flowmo's make excuses for it

Those HBO deals were game changers-that had never been done before. floyd isnt the 1st fighter with a guranteed deal. HBO, rightly so IMO, moved away from those deals. It makes the judging, refereeing, and announcing all seem suspect.

None I wouldn't think, but some are much more mindful of leaving behind a substantial legacy and fighting the biggest challenges out there. Its an ego game, and most of these guys have big egos and want to prove it. Some do it with their fists, others believe their bank account balance does it

My question is relevant because you are assuming floyd will make the same regardless of who he fights when you HAVE NO IDEA if thats true or not.
Even if it was as you say, You're still the only Floyd fan in this tread bold enough to put forth the excuse of why Floyd should avoid Trout.

Which I'll never understand about someone like you. No I don't know what Floyd is making, therefore I never use the "money", excuse. But you also don't know what Floyd is making are still use the excuse at every available opportunity. That's just weird.

If you nor I know what Floyd is making, then why bring up money as an excuse?? We know he's getting paid by showtime ti fight there, that's it. So how are you gonna say "well he won't make any money fighting Trout when you yourself don't know what the hell you're talking about??

HELL NO! I think Mayweather stays at 147 if that happens!

I am not sure the Casual Fans would be calling for Mayweather vs Trout, they would still probably want to see Mayweather vs Canelo just like many want to still see Mayweather vs Pacquiao despite Pacquiao getting Knocked Out

So it all depends, I would love to see Trout vs Mayweather if they win their next fight, I think Trout CAN BEAT MAYWEATHER because he have all that it takes to beat Mayweather, Trout wouldn't have to ask Mayweather to "GO TOE TO TOE" unlike some fighters...because Trout actually KNOWS HOW THE BOX, knows how to cut the ring off, knows how to fight inside despite being a Taller/Longer Fighter, knows how to use his jab and length to his advantage

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens though! But I do think Trout beats Mayweather just like I always thought Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest both would have beaten Mayweather but those fights never happened because fans never called for them, they was busy calling for Mayweather vs Cotto and Mayweather vs Margarito back then

Realistically, Mayweather should fight the winner of this fight.

But, if Canelo loses to Trout and Alexander beats Brook then I think he will fight Alexander.

I think we all KNOW the answer here.
