Let's say that Trout wins, (which I think he will), will Floyd fight him?? I think He should, that's the logical choice. I mean people think Martinez can't make the weight & is too big. No one at welterweight seems good enough, so the next logical choice would be to fight the guy that beat Cotto & canelo in a row, wouldn't it??

I'd say as of this particular fight, (should Trout win), he'd be just as known as the Ghost. All this of course, assuming that Floyd beat the Ghost. Thoughts??

I wouldn't think so. Only reason he's interested in Alvarez is money, which he wouldn't get with Trout.

I think he has to unless he vacates and says he's not comfortable fighting above welterweight.

Trout will be is his mandatory, just like Guerrero is now.

Trout would have beaten the guy that Floyd is planning on fighting later this year.

Trout beat Cotto, just like Floyd beat Cotto.

And a fight with Trout will do bigger numbers than a fight with Alexander, especially coming off of a Canelo win.

no. he goes up to 154 to fight opponents who can get him at or over 1.5 mil ppv's. Trout doesn't do that.

Unless he sees a glaringly obvious weakness in Trout's game, don't bet on it.

He probably would look at Timothy Bradley or Devon Alexander next if that happens

He should and I expect him to. No Floyd fan can use the money excuse RG is not a PPV star and theyre fighting May 4th. With Floyds new deal he can fight Trout, Alexander , etc and still make money.

Not sure. I doubt it, though.

But the more I look at it, the more I think Canelo is going to beat Trout.
