Sure, if you like watching a fanboy fellate his object of obsession.

"WOW, Adrien Broner! You REALLY KICKED that guy's ASS! HOW did YOU manage to BEAT his ASS SO BADly? I'd show YOU a REPLAY of the TWO knockDOWNS, but there were SO MANY of them that I LOST count. Here, ALLOW ME to SLIDE my lips FURTHER down YOUR shaft!"

Waiting for a fight to begin once, I approached Max and he spent several minutes talking with me about recent fights, some of which involved controversial decisions. He was very attentive, gracious, genuine, straightforward, and even thanked me emphatically for my comments. While talking too him, you get a real vibe of his passion for Boxing.

you've met him, so i'll take it from you that he's a good guy to chat to and a courteous fellow.

which makes it even more alarming that he's such a pile of ass on the telecast.

          He's a boggle-eyed, over-ENUncIATING **** hawk.

Yeah... not like a paid professional objective broadcaster would.

If I want to hear "this fighter is AWESOME, fugggggkkkk the haterzzzzz, PWN!" I'll log onto NSB, not tune into HBO.

Anyone hear the prick tag in last night on that Tyson promo?

"Hey JIM, I SPOKE to TYSON only YESterDAY!"

                "What did he say, Max?"

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... nothing much. Just called me a **** and said he was busy."

"Thanks for the anecdote Max, Jay Leno missed out there."

                  Yes.

And when he does that he comes across as rather silly, like an adolescent girl.

i dont mind Kellerman... Jim Lampley is far more of an annoyance, relies heavily on the compubox numbers to tell you whos winning a fight... he rarely displays an objective view... the commentating on HBO has taken a big turn for the worst in the past few years... and with the loss of Manny, the little credibility they had left is gone.
