What do you think of Max Kellerman?

Personaly dont really pay much attention to the commentators when im watching a fight, i kind of dip in and out to what their saying.

I agree completely. i was going to post pretty much exactly this, but in different words. He's ok, as far as tv people go.

Kellerman is a racist supremacist with little knowledge of boxing. Him and Lampley think they know boxing because they read ring magazine.

It was good that they had Andre Ward on last night, always good to hear from pro fighters.

lol I wouldn't have been listening if Andre Ward was there. It would have been cool If RJJ was there with Hopkins. I feel like people who atleast used to box actually know what is going on much better

I agree with you saying he calls it "as the fans see it". And yes, I do believe he conducts his post fight interviews with the boxers very well, especially when there are times those interviews tend to get a bit out of hand. Also, he his akin to a walking encyclopedia of boxing history.

Max takes zero risks. He just wants to be sweet with every fighter and makes no attempt at asking the serious, insightful questions.

Kellerman is absolutely horrible.

On the mic, he sounds exactly like 85% of the posts in NSB read. Which is why I'm not surprised to see so many of you subhuman ******s voting that you think he's excellent.

Really don't like Kellerman i think he is a poor commentator and his knowledge of the sport doesn't seem very good.
I'm sure he'll improve after 5-10 years though!

Larry Holmes did a great job of commentary for the viloria/marquez card.
Holmes would be great on hbo or showtime...

Max has been commentating for over 15 years now (he was on ESPN back in the late 90s) and he's still awful.

I quite like him. He's got a good non irritating voice, he's fairly unbiased, he's young.
