Hes no Larry Merchant, but I like Max. Max has been around a long time, and knows his stuff. I've always been a fan.
What do you think of Max Kellerman?

I like Max. He's a good commentator. He's a slightly a P@ctard, but he was also slightly a flowemoe so I guess he's neutral.Comment

Max seems like a cool dude to smoke a blunt with, but he gets super uptightish and "professional" when he is commentating. I say just be like "**** it. I'm gonna have a beer and call it like a ****ing boxing fan."
I really like Joe Rogan and Paulie Malignaggi's commentary -- they're both loud-mouthed yet articulate Americans with Italian heritage.Comment

Frankly, I'd like to see Lampley issued walking papers before Kellerman. That old guy has seen better days. Seems like Ol'Jim is either full of rhetoric and b.s. for the hbo house fighter or he is flirting with an on-air emotional breakdown. Lamps appears disinterested and bored. He is done...
At least Kellerman still has his enthusiasm for the sport and the job. You can't fake that. The guy is, for better or worse, the same high strung, loud mouthed know-it-all freshman type that he was back in the 90's on Friday Night Fights. I'd keep him on the hobo crew, but I'd like to see him consciously work at stepping up his game as an announcer over the next year or two. It's time.Comment

Sometimes annoying
Tries to hard
But I do love his passion for the sport, seems like the kinda guy if he wasn't broadcasting, he would be at home on the couch watching, which is pretty coolComment
