What do you think of Max Kellerman?

Max Kellerman grew up in a posh apartment on Fifth Avenue. His parents are very wealthy and his psychiatrist father, Henry Kellerman, has a lot of important connections.

Kellerman attended a publicly funded but exclusive high school that has been criticized for being very reluctant to admit black and Hispanic students. In 2009, only 3% of the students were black and 1% were Hispanic.

I quite like him. He's got a good non irritating voice, he's fairly unbiased, he's young.

No, he has a terrible, irritating voice and he's extremely biased. He not a kid anymore, he turns 40 this year.

He has a terrible lack of tact, and much of what he says is factually wrong.

ok I don't see how that's relevant. Kellerman, whether we like him or not, has a true genuine love for boxing. That much cannot be denied. So while maybe he had rich parents or whatever, he CHOSE to go into boxing. I'm sure his parents would have wanted him to become something else but the man followed his dreams and that much, at the very least, is to be respected.

And unbiased, are you kidding me? Granted, most of HBO's commentary crew has been fairly biased (Jones and Steward are the only ones who spring to mind that weren't overtly biased), but Max is biased as **** in regards to "slick african American" fighters.

Whereas guys like Merchant and Foreman preferred punchers, and Lampley just seems to favor whoever is HBO's most stoic guy at the time. (Cotto, Pacquiao, etc...)

Irritating voice? I guess it's a personal preference. His voice wont stand out in a crowd. It's not high pitched or too growling.
