I don't mind him to be honest. He genuinely loves the sport.

I'm not an english speaker, maybe that's why i don't pick up on this super annoying way of pronouncing words?

      Examples please.
You wouldn't need examples if you had listened in on him calling a Hopkins fight, Broner fight, Mayweather fight, etc...

Lots of people love the sport, that doesn't necessarily mean that they should be paid to comment on it.

Guys like Teddy Atlas, Roy Jones, Paulie Malignaggi, and Antonio Tarver : Those are the guys who should get paid to provide the blow-by-blow. Not overzealous fanboys who sound like they should be posting in NSB instead.

It's not even "well, they never fought" thing, either. It's just the fact that they're more subdued and provide better insight into what is going on instead of sitting there going "****! ****! ****!" or saying "WOW! THIS guy is REALLY kicking THAT guy's ASS!"

He highlights parts of words and gets louder to exaggerate words for no reason.
Like "THAT was amAZING I love watching BERNARD HOPkins fight."
*just imagine the capitals as raising his voice being more enthusiastic*

You want to talk about bias and then mentions Malignaggi and Atlas?

Are you against biased people or is it only annoying when it's for fighters you dislike?

occasionally he'll make a decent point in trying to balance out the gushing stream of Lampley bullshit, but he always falls in line eventually.

aside from that, so many of his statements are laughable. he's a fucking idiot with herpes.

@ The notion of me "disliking" Hopkins.

You'd be hard pressed to find a bigger fan of the guy than I am, but I don't allow my preferences for certain fighters or styles influence my viewing of a fight.

Which is exactly what Kellerman does everytime HBO goes live.

I guess i just don't pick up on this clear bias as you seem to.

Atlas and Malignaggi on the other hand are sometimes laughable. Malignaggi is a good guy and i think he can become a great commentator, but he needs to be more objective.

With that said i like the entire HBO crew. Even Larry. It feels like home.
