I don't see how.

He's a decently skilled fighter but what has he done in his career? Very little.

I'm not saying it's Darren Barker level, it was a solid win it certainly isn't "P4P Par".

He's done nothing of note as far as beating elite fighters in big fights, but you of all people know that a lot more goes into evaluating a fighter's worth than simply having a good name or two on your resume.

To be honest : There aren't a whole lot of "P4P Par" fights to be made at Middleweight right now, and there hasn't been for quite some time.

Martinez's Middleweight reign reminds me of Hopkins' back in the day, but both men deserve full credit for disposing of their (admittedly) less than stellar opposition in rather lopsided fashion.

Chavez is a perfect example of that. It seemed like everybody and their mother was picking Julio to destroy Martinez and then when he was thoroughly embarassed everybody just wrote it off to Chavez being a lazy pothead.

The guy had been knocked down five times and brutalized by Martinez and the Vera fight was only his second fight in three years (Dzinziruk was also a shot 37 by then). Vera is a decent middleweight too, he holds two wins over Sergio Mora and a stoppage win against Lee.

At his prime Dzinziruk had wins against Daniel Santos (coming off a Margarito win), Lukas Konecny, Joel Julio, and Daniel Dawson. He was also considered one of the most feared fighters at 154.

Santos was coming off a Marg robbery and shouldnt even have been holding the belt. But it was still a decent win. Lukas was like top 30, Julio was all hype and didnt actually beat anybody and Dawson was a complete aussy scrub. Its obvious you went on Boxrec and saw his shiny record because he is a nobody. He was never feared, nobody knew who he was and he was also inactive with promotional disputes. Thats why he didnt fight anyone

Martinez was the clear favourite with the bookmakers and in general. In no way was Chavez the favourite.

As for judging fighters by skills and not resume. I don't go off only who they beat, but it's so much looking amazing whilst fighting no one.

If you look great but have fought no one and not proven it at the top level then how good is the win? Not great in my eyes.

If they go on to do something then that's a different matter. But what has Dzinziruk gone on to do? Nothing except look awful.
