He's done nothing of note as far as beating elite fighters in big fights, but you of all people know that a lot more goes into evaluating a fighter's worth than simply having a good name or two on your resume.
To be honest : There aren't a whole lot of "P4P Par" fights to be made at Middleweight right now, and there hasn't been for quite some time.
Martinez's Middleweight reign reminds me of Hopkins' back in the day, but both men deserve full credit for disposing of their (admittedly) less than stellar opposition in rather lopsided fashion.
Chavez is a perfect example of that. It seemed like everybody and their mother was picking Julio to destroy Martinez and then when he was thoroughly embarassed everybody just wrote it off to Chavez being a lazy pothead.
