IDK, man as a huge Cotto fan it's hard for me to swallow but I think he's at the finish line. This era is closing. Cotto looks done, Manny just got brutally KO'd, Floyd is noticeably slowing, etc...

he's not shot like roy "jiggly brain" jones jr he's just lazy. why do you think he fights at 154 and has love handles? he doesn't take boxing seriously and that's why i don't take him seriously. he was beating trout and floyd when he pressured them but stopped doing that and got picked off because his stamina and training let him down.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I like Cotto, but he just doesn't seem to have the passion for boxing anymore. It's like he's just going through the motions. Even though he'll walk through fire and give a good account of himself in all his fights, he doesn't seem to take the preparation for the fight seriously enough which makes him lose more fights than he should. I also agree that he shouldn't be at 154. That's a cop out to not put in the extra training time to make weight at 147.

Cotto is overrated.

There are always excuses when he loses.

Lets face it. Everytime the guy stepped up, he lost.

Mayweather = Lost
Trout (who is barely world class) = Lost

Hogg guy is a hater. He calls Cotto Lazy and says Cotto has a quitters attitude....too much emotion in his opinions.

I do on the other hand believe Cotto is past his prime and is shot. I tell everyone Cotto has been shot since before Margarito 2.
