He's not shot he simply lost to a good opponent.

For people saying Cotto is shot, do you think this version of himself would lose to any of the former fighters he once beat?

Malignaggi? Judah? Mosley? Corley? Clottey? Jennings? Mayorga? Margarito? ( I'm talking about their performance at the time he fought them).

Now if you were to take the Cotto that beat those guys and put him in the ring with Pacquiao, Mayweather and Trout what do you think would happen? He'd lose against all of them.

He's a good fighter. Trout was just too big and cagey for him. Against guys he can outmuscle and bully around he usually wins but he couldn't do that with Trout.

This version of Cotto would lose to the Mosley he fought.

He seems too small for 154 and his face seems to swell alot easier now, hes not shot though.

That's your opinion, personally I think this version of Cotto would have an easier time with Mosley. His physical capabilities has diminished but he is a more experienced/seasoned boxer which is more problematic for Mosley.

He's not shot IMO, he fought pretty well vs Trout. But I do think he underestimated Trout. He was drunk off his "success" vs Floyd, and forgot why he was never matched against a legit sww in the first place. The clear headed move would be to try your luck vs protected Canelo for way more money.

It's not just the physical, he's long lost the killer vibe he used to have. When's the last time he brutalized someone to the body?

He isn't shot, just older and Trout's physical dimensions and athleticism gave him a lot of problems. His skin and stamina are betraying him, it's time to win that one last title and wait for the call to the HOF in five years.

                      Prime Cotto beats Trout.
