That really oversimplifies my view on it. I really have no problem with a fighter talking crap if they back it up, but what Floyd does really sucks. He has been doing it for years and its now not only tiresome but cringeworthy to witness. Him contemplating fighting RG and trying to sell it as some kind of worthwhile fight is pretty damn shameless.

From everything I have read Robinson was winning. if Maxim was winning that's certainly new to me.

Mayweather/Martinez @160 (maybe with a clause in place that says Sergio can't rehydrate past a certain amount), and then both guys retire regardless of the outcome.

Joe Louis was winning easily against Max Schmeling after 5 rounds. Meldrick Taylor was winning against Chavez for 11 rounds. Jermain Taylor was winning against Carl Froch for 11 rounds.

They all lost. Point being that the fight aint over untill the fat lady sings.

I don't recall claiming Robinson won the fight. I said he was winning before he succumbed to heat and yes, he lost. Maybe you can show me where anybody credible said otherwise.

Too bad you're not this vigorous in regards to Kessler losing to Ward. Because the fat lady did some singing at the end of that fight too.

what is that exactly? In truth, floyd hasn't tried to sell the fight so why are you so critical of something that hasn't happened yet?

as for contemplating-could you just be more honest. Floyd may fight Ghost becuse ghost won the eliminator for floyd's ww title. Going into the ghost-berto fight, it was assumed the winner (which many thought would be berto) had a leg up on getting a floyd fight (same as Berto ortiz).

You claimed Robinson was winning through the heat didn't you? Otherwise excuse me for misinterpreting your post.

It hasn't been amazing? Yet, you implied it was amazing. "After the run he's been on, he deserves an easy fight!"

I think beating ranked fighters matters. Not fighters who have 1 fight above domestic level like Darren Barker.

                    It doesn't.

But in this case, Robinson was winning the fight.
