Floyd has given up weight to ODH and Cotto and beat them. So if you want him to give up more weight because it gives him a better chance to lose just say so and stop with all the other BS.
That's exactly what it is. Even in the Ortiz fight Mayweather gave up 14 pounds on the night of the fight. It didn't make a bit of difference.

As I said the other thread, Weeb, give it up. Move on, bro. We're going into 2013, you just gotta stop.

How would it have been any different at another weight? Would Marquez match Mayweather's speed? Defense?

Break it down instead of repeating the same excuse.
Why don't you read Marquez's own words on how weight effected him in the fight?

It's amazing you guys can think a fighter can jump two divisions for the first time and it won't affect his ability in the ring.

Bro you're arguing on the other thread that Floyd's a WW, and now you're claiming to want a Sergio fight? at least be honest if you can't be serious

TS asked a question, some mentioned Martinez. Then the Floyd supporters started making up all kinds of excuses as to why a Floyd/Martinez showdown makes no sense.

Even defending a ginger/Floyd showdown. Which quite frankly is laughable. I mean how can anyone give Floyd any credit for beating ginger?? He hasn't done a thing in 40+ fights to prove he can compete with the #2 pfp fighter in the world, not a thing.

Fighting 2x a year would be nice. As for competition, we can't ever have a rational discussion because as REED so aptly put it whoever he fights people will complain.

would you have a different opinion if he didn't proclaim his greatness so much?

huh? floyd is a ww. the reason I want to see a floyd/sergio fight is because sergio is bigger and an elite fighter. should he win, you and the posters like you would be forced to finally admit what you don't want to- that floyd is the best fighter of his generation and one of the best ever!

Bush you have been on record about the floyd/canelo fight from the beginning. But some others say hes ducking canelo.

They'll go around in circles backing every move he makes ruling out every possible alternative in boxing so that they're left with Guerrero or Canelo.

Boxing fans want him to fight the best, Floyd fans are happy with mismatches.

You mean Marquez excuses. Funny thing is he has never wanted a rematch. Jumped up two divisions without an effect? See Shane Mosley.

Mayweather's not a welterweight now? LOL I'm done.
