    Anyway, in order of preference:

    (1) Sign to fight Sergio Martinez.
    (2) Rematch Marquez at 143lbs
    (3) Sign to fight Pacquiao in late summer.
    (4) Fight Austin Trout in May
    (5) Fight Tim Bradley at a catchweight.

    (6) Forget Guerrero and Canelo until 2014 or late-2013 at the earliest.
why would a rematch take place at 143 when JMM just won at 147?

      This is also true.

Because he's not a WW and has never looked good fighting at the weight, uplift in power aside he didn't even look good in the Pacquiao fight until the knockout.

If you asked JMM whether he would prefer the rematch at 143 or 147, what do you think he would say?

At which weight do you think boxing fans would feel the fight would be most competitive?

          JMM would probably say 143.

Boxing fans would say niether. Lets be honest, floyd didn't use his weight advantage to beat JMM. I think most fans don't want a rematch between them at all.

But since JMM just upset manny at 147, and floyd has a belt at 147, the rematch would logically take place at 147.

ALso, why would Tim be at a CW?

People just don't seem to get this point.

The weight had **** all to do with the style of the fighters.

He thinks Mayweather can make 143 and thinks Marquez would win if it were at 143 but not 147 despite the fact he just beat Pacquaio at 147.

if floyd had just bullied jmm and pushed him around in the fight, then most fans would be calling for floyd to beat "this" jmm. Even JMM's biggest supporters aren't on board for a rematch, which is very telling IMO.

Pretty much the argument I have on the regular.

The fight took place in the center of the ring and the weight had nothing to do with the outcome. We're talking about 3-4lbs here. It WOULDN'T of mattered, mainly because of the style of the fight that took place... and also because. It's THREE POUNDS.

Reed, can you please write that in capitals and make it emboldened so the clowns who say otherwise have absolutely no ground left to stand on when it comes to discussing FMJ V JMM?

Id love to see him fight at 160, but that's not really fair.

Right now sine Martinez is booked. FIght Canelo in May, then Martinez at 154 in Sep.
