that fight is just as significant as Broner's win over Escobedo, it don't mean shyt because they cheated the scales.

bottom line is you have to make weight to get credit for a victory
    .

    Great post I agree!

I read that with utter sarcasm.

Any level headed person would realize, the way that Floyd won, that 2lbs did absolutely nothing.

He didn't even fight him in a way in which is weight would matter such as an inside fight, he boxed him from a distance the entire fight.

He won every second of every round after a 2 year layoff, that 2lbs meant absolutely nothing.

        Pac weighs in @ 147
        Marquez weighs in @ 143

        Floyd weighs in @ 146
        Marquez weighs in @ 142

But Floyd had this mystical advantage that Pac didn't? AMAZING

Then why did he agree to come in at 144? Why did Broner agree to come in at 130 against Escobedo?

My point is that you have to make weight to get credit for a victory, if you don't make weight there's always gonna be an * next to the win no matter how people think it would have looked like if they actually would have made weight.

people keep referring to Marquez ko of Pacquiao acting like now Mayweather should get more credit for his fight against Marquez. When Mayweather fought Marquez Marquez looked bloated and like he shouldnt be at that weight. yea i still give credit to Mayweather he got the W however i think if he fought Marquez now and Marquez was in the shape he was in the last Pacquiao fight we would see a closer fight but Mayweather still wins. But mayweather deserves no extra credit cause Marquez ko'd pacquiao it has nothing to do with mayweather. Styles make fights and just cause Marquez ko'd Pacquiao and Mayweather easily beat Marquez it says nothing about how a Mayweather Pacquiao fight would have gone. However i would say it would be Mayweather by ud

Yes, that's true. I do remember Floyd being given a loss for that

I give Credit to Mayweather the way he beat Marquez. It's not easy to beat Marquez but Mayweather made it look easy styles make fights. Of course this doesn't mean that Mayweather would beat Pac in the ring. Like a lot of you dumb a**es think. You have to step in the ring to do that.

For all the Floyd fans that ***** about catch weights and making people come up and down, Floyd made Juan come from lightweight all the way to welterweight. Yea, first WW match was against Floyd. Sure he beat him but he didn't KO Marquez like Juan did Manny. Floyd should have finished him off.

Who cares about fans that don't like Floyd, giving him credit. Why do people care so much that certain people don't like their guy? What the hell changes if some fans give credit to Floyd or not? How does it effect your view of Floyd? You guys are crying over nothing.

Waaaaaaa they don't want to give credit to Floyd!! Guess what, Floyd doesn't care and you shouldn't either. ****ing pussiez

Who cares why, the only thing that matters is, was 2 freakin pounds the difference between winning and losing?

The answer is, not even kind of.
