floyd has yet to get his first win in the eyes of the critics. to old young slow hurt dumb smart whatever anyone can think of to discredit this man. then you have fighters like pacquiao who get credit even tho he fights old slow catch weight etc etc same type of fighters and fights floyd. in boxing if you win its a wi. its not like most sports. its just crazy how one fighter is respected for same thing another is criticized for. even if you hate everything about floyd you have to respect him.i feel like he wont get his credit till few years after he retires then people will realize the greatness.

I never liked the fight as a floyd n marquez fan a shi8 fight imo it was a waste of floyds time especially since he hasnt been fighting as much.

if giving a fight full credit is a ten ill give it a 4 maybe.

Let Floyd fight Marquez at 143-144lbs, then come tell us how he's better than him.
so marquez didnt ask to go up in weight when he called out floyd?? i know ur better than this please stop....

Floyd was stylistically all wrong for JMM! Throw in the fact that he had never fought at WW before, and Floyd outweighing by almost 20lbs on fight night and the whole thing is broken down for ya.

Styles make fights. Although I do believe Pacquiao would have been an easy fight for Floyd, we'll never know now.

Love how the fact that Floyd was off for nearly two years gets ignored alot when looking back at this fight.

He doesnt get credit because he didnt make weight against a guy who was coming up in weight. First fight @ 147 and JMM was already a small 135er. The least Floyd could have done was make weight. Didnt do it. Didnt weigh in on fight night either.

It may have been legit if JMM was acclimated to the weight a bit as he is now but for his first foray @ 147 against and a guy who didnt make weight and didnt weigh in on fight night? Not legit.

Broner vs Escobedo was more legit than this fight.

one of Floyd's best victories now considering that Marquez schooled manny one time then brutally knocked him out the next time

                      manny isn't a bad welter
