Boxing is so corrupt that even after a blowout victory, the champ is nervous and excited when the scorecards get read. Trout did nothing to impress me but Cotto's career is over. I'm not a big Canelo fan, but he would baila la bamba all over Trout.

I think this may have exposed Mayweather as well!

There's certain types of fighters that have just enough speed so that with their timing can use their power. Cotto is that type of fighter. The problem is that when the speed falls off they go from elite to ineffective. I think that's what we saw here tonight.

Thank goodness he didn't fight Manny, Lord that would have been brutal.

I'm not even interested in a Floyd-Trout so there is really no sense in mentioning , Floyd is a welterweight at the end of the day, period. The real question is where does Trout go from here? only logical options are Canelo, Lara vs Vanes winner? Angulo? Kirkland?

Yeah, Floyd should stay at 147 and Cotto needs to go back there. Canelo/Trout is the obvious match up being that Trout beat Cotto. When Ortiz was being considered and lost to Lopez. Canelo fought Lopez instead (who was smaller than him) then. NOW Canelo needs to fight Trout.

Stop picking fights based on PRIDE and learn about Boxing...not to toot my own horn by I called this back in October that Trout would pick Cotto apart

STYLES MAKE FIGHTS! And Trout Style is a ***IN NIGHTMARE! Vernon Forrest was one of my favorite fighters growing up, that is who Trout Reminds me of, he doesn't do one thing Spectacular but he does EVERYTHING WELL which makes him so difficult to prepare for because you can't prepare for just ONE THING

But Much Respect to Cotto, me picking against him wasn't personal, Cotto was and will always be one of my favorites but I pick fighters based on Skills In The Ring, not based on PRIDE REASSURANCE and Trout out-classing him comes as NO SHOCKER

And by the way it is no ***in way GBP let Canelo go anywhere near Trout, that fight would be like Vernon Forrest vs Shane Mosley, I think Trout has a easier time with Canelo then he had with Cotto IMO

Score cards were bull**** fight was much more closer both when didn't look too good a lot of misses by both guys but props to trout but cotto didn't look like himself size probably was the factor but cotto had a great career he has nothing to be ashamed of if he decides to retire before he does he should take 1 more fight in pr and go out with a win I don't see Canelo fighting trout but I do think this year will be the last year we will see the 3 biggest stars in boxing Floyd cotto PAC will all probably retire by early 2013

Cotto looked sluggish to me. Usually he has good timing, his jab wasnt there at all. The only time he looked good was when he outboxed trout but He didn't stick to it. Being the aggressor in this fight backfired and it surprised me his trainer didnt pick that up.
