Trout arguably swept the last 6 rounds, and you only gave him 3 rounds in the entire fight?

Trout said he's open to a rematch, and Schaefer said there was a rematch clause. I think Trout beats him again.

Cotto fought well. He should move back to 147 or retire.

EDIT: I had a few questionable/close rounds I gave to Cotto. I re-scored it and have it 115-113 in favor of Trout.
I thought the fight could have gone either way by a few points. If you really watch the infighting (and even the slow motion in between rounds) Trout hit air with almost every punch. It was a sloppy, sloppy fight with very little work done that was clean. But hey, just how I saw it. Cong**** to Trout. He seems like a good kid who made the best of a golden opportunity.

That was a hard watch as a Cotto fan but I'm glad/surprised Trout didn't get stiffed by the judges, I had him winning clearly. I always thought this was going to be a difficult fight, though figured maybe Team Cotto saw something in Trout they could exploit. But no, they picked a difficult fight and quite honestly, Cotto was done after round 6. In fact, I felt there was no snap to his punches from round 1.

Funnily enough, I still wouldn't mind Canelo vs Cotto. It's lost its lustre but hey, that's what happens you allow fights to "marinate", to use an an Arum-ism. And anyway, it was pretty much a hype-builder for the winner to fight Floyd.

F-ck it, just make it. It would be a big event, and boxing could use more of those.

I agree. It was a razor close fight and it was either a draw or a razor close win for Trout. But I didnt really see how it was a clear Trout win.

Good win for Trout, Cotto can still fight against top opponents.

Good win for Trout. Cotto needs to drop back to 147. And he also needs to stop running out of the ring like an abused squirrel every time he loses a clear cut decision. Be a man, take your decision and give your interview in the ring like everyone else. You were the attraction in the garden, not Trout. Show respect to your fans.

And for those asking, Mayweather is a lil smaller than Cotto, thats why that fight was more competitive. Plus Mayweather didn't move around much at all in the fight. When he kept his distance, Floyd pretty much had his way. When he shelled up in the shoulder roll, that when Cotto had "moments" while still getting chipped up repeatedly.

lmao that gave me a good chuckle. I thought there were plenty of close rounds in this fight but that it was a tad closer than 117-111. It is good that Trout was not robbed though he earned this victory.
