This is funny, Martinez is not interested in fighting any young Champion, not Quillin and not GGG, he is looking to set himself up and make a lot of money with what he have left, Floyd, Cotto or even Canelo, what PQ say was that GGG is in the same mediocre level that he is and he is looking for some ahead of him to make a name, and down the line they could fight for more status and $$$, Quillin is only 27 years old and hasn't hit his prime yet, I don't know how old GGG is but if he is pushing 30 a fight against PQ is not going to do $h1t, and common he beat up a guy that PT would had beat up too, I'll love for this fight to happen and I think if they keep on winning they will meet, but now it doesn't make sense because both of them are unknown, one of them could fight Chavez Jr. and the other Pirog...

The WBO doesn't allow for immediate rematches. Nobody got jerked.

Only just won a belt and already he's coming up with reasons to avoid people and talking about himself in the first person.
      Try third.

      Try kazakh.

Pete is 29; Gennady is 30.

I agree about Sergio. "Maravilla" isn't looking to fight any hungry, young bucks at this stage, unless they bring a sizable purse. It's all about the Benjamins for Martinez. Can't blame him; you can't fight forever.

This KID is hilarious! Dude GGG is known to boxing fans, how can you say he burst on the scene? Your hilarious... You will be outworked and out punched by GGG and Sergio? WOW you wont last 6 rounds... Cmon man you gave out on 8th round already... You fought a guy who got his belt because Pirog was stripped...i actually think your a great athlete but for you to say that GGG is not a known name in US OK maybe to TV but boxing fans know who GGG is.....

They would've immediately rematched Pacquiao-Bradley though so don't say that. If that is in deed true, that is something I didn't know.

Peter Quillin isn't a known commodity so when him and his manager talk about now Golovkin needs more exposure before they fight I feel that they are just ducking him. Golovkin has had a belt longer than Quillin and their levels of opposition are equal. So the way that they are talking, Quillin's next fight better be against Sergio or Felix Sturm or someone who is more known than Golovkin, otherwise they just exposed themselves as ducking Golovkin
