How can you become P4P material if you haven't even cleaned your own division? Martinez hasn't faced any of the top middleweights.

Of course they make the rules as they go along but in this case they're saying no immediate rematch. Golden Boy isn't responsible.

These other guys get hyped up for beating some dude that has like 15 or 20 fights with losses on their records already or who has never fought out of their backyards.

Sergio would end Quillin quick and break 3G down round by round. Martinez is miles beyond the competition.
I think you're overrating Martinez a little bit. He didn't look miles beyond Barker who busted his nose and he didn't look that great against Macklin. He whooped Chavez for almost the entire fight but in that last round he was like a deer in the headlights.

He's a legit P4P guy but let's not act like the other top MWs have no chance against him.

Boxing is a business first , sport second so expect Pedro to make a couple defenses first.

Don't have a issue with this fight not happening immediatly Golovkin can continue to impress with another TV date and make the fight more anticapated later in the year.

WOW you wont last 6 rounds... Cmon man you gave out on 8th round already... You fought a guy who got his belt because Pirog was stripped...i actually think your a great athlete but for you to say that GGG is not a known name in US OK maybe to TV but boxing fans know who GGG is.....
You are such a hypocrite, Quillin needs to fight GGG but Donaire can and should avoid Rigondeaux.

I agree about Sergio. "Maravilla" isn't looking to fight any hungry, young bucks at this stage, unless they bring a sizable purse. It's all about the Benjamins for Martinez. Can't blame him; you can't fight forever.
Thanks... some ppl are asking Quillin to defend against GGG, but they are ok with Donaire excuses and Canelos ducking a whole division, I like the Quillin-GGG fight but if they fight a couple of name themselves it will bring them more money a recognition.

It doesn't matter what Quillin says. He's going to let his manager call the shots, so anything he says is pretty much all talk.

This pretty much sum it up.

I like Quillin, but Golovkin would KO him.

Quillin should go after Macklin early next year, and than Pirog in the summer. Than he'd be in line for really big fights if he won those two fights.

Are you serious? Pavlik and Chavez Jr were the top middle weights on paper. You sound sillier. Even your first line is hilarious. Has Pacquiao cleared out WW? Mayweather?, Canelo at MW?, Donaire? Your logic is flawed. The only one who cleared out a division technically is Ward.
